The still comes from a video recorded between 6 ad 7 a.m. Friday. Harley’s family reported him missing at 11:50 p.m. Saturday after he did not return home from school on Friday.

What? Last seen Friday morning and not reported missing until Saturday until 11:50 pm? Is this true or bad reporting?

It would be a rare kid who chooses to be missing on Christmas. The fact that he's not home is extremely concerning.

Marking my spot.
Do they have his phone ?

Oh no. He’s still missing on Christmas :(

It is not good Harley has been missing so long. Are there any other disappearances of young teens in the area in recent times?

The only reasonable thing I can think of would be if the parents thought he was sleeping over with a friend after school on Friday and didn’t check to make sure he got there Friday night? This also assumes whomever he was supposed to be with Friday night didn’t reach out to the parents either.

I find it more likely this is poor reporting, and he was reported missing by noon on Friday after not showing up at school.

Has to be bad reporting or very important facts being left out?

Can anyone clarify " sensitive nature " of the investigation. That's an odd thing to throw out in a press release MOO TIA Praying for Harley to be found soon and save

The photograph attached to this update, we believe is Harley and it was captured on Friday, December 20th, 2019 between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM that morning.

Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, the photograph was taken in the area between Harley’s residence on E. 5th Street and the Port Clinton High & Middle School Campus.

WE are planning an “Emergency Services” search in the upcoming days once ALL video has been reviewed and ask that you please be patient and allow us that time.

That struck me as odd too, indicating a lot more to the story than can be released to the public. So very scary that this kiddo is still missing. Praying for his family and his safe recovery.

Maybe they are thinking suicide. LE would try to keep that private.

Hope he found someone to talk to... So sad to be that young and think there are no options MOO

Well, that last release from LE was certainly informative. I am so mad that they didn't release this in the beginning. The police have been called to the home before, Harley was angry when he left, Harley has taken off overnight before when he is upset...gee, do you think that would have been helpful in the first place?? Police are presently blocking off the roads around Harley's house at this moment. Port Clinton PD find no evidence of abduction, active search of 150 acres begins for missing teen

PCPD is holding a news conference at 3PM today , and it was NOT poor reporting. Mom did not notify he was missing for 41 hours after seeing him for the last time. The info in the article above at least explains it NOW that perhaps the reason for that was because he's taken off before. *sigh*

Officers are looking east of Fulton Street, at a range of 150 acres that are both wooded and farmland. They are expected to search all 150 acres Thursday.

At around 11:30 a.m., PCPD went to Dilly's home. The ground search began around 12:45 p.m.

Police continue to search with the assumption that Dilly is alive. Officers are using live-find dogs as well as cadaver dogs to aid in their search.

No one has heard from Dilly other than his mom on the morning of Dec. 20. He wasn't feeling well, but his mother instructed him to go to school. Harley never arrived on the high school campus Dec. 20.

There have been previous calls to the residence for police. Dilly was reportedly upset over something that happened at the home.

Another press conference is expected to begin at 3 p.m.
