I’m listing the school’s entire policy on e-devices from the school handbook. When I was a little kid, we were still on party lines from Ma Bell’s wall phone. We had to wait until the neighbor was done talking to make a call. Once we finally came up in the world years later, we got Southwestern Bell’s princess phone. No cordless, no cell, no iPhone. We still had black and white tv with a 45 record player on top. I sit and shake my head at what is available and custom for kids now. Gee, I don’t know how the heck we ever survived without the internet to tell us what to think. So...I’m still a bit old school. Don’t have a cell phone. Don’t want one. I read these rules and had to stop and wonder what I think of these. When my My 20 year old granddaughter was in school, phones were not allowed to be on during school hours. My 13 yr old granddaughter doesn’t have a cellphone. What for? We have a landline. She uses her moms when needed and permitted. It’s essential at times when she is away from home and a lifesaver to prevent stress and provide comfort. We live blocks from her school. So...what do y’all think about these rules for school? Are they reasonable or comparable to others? I am surprised they can be used in the cafeterias. Idk why. Just watching HD in the Vlog, I realized how long it’s been since I was in school. How things have changed. I see both pro/con.
