I have followed missing persons cases for a long time and one thing that always impedes the public from helping is when the basic facts are still convoluted one to two weeks out. And that is what we have in Harley's case, unfortunately. Even at this juncture, while knowing all about his Social Media involvement, we do not know for sure how his phone was removed from him...was it broken or was it just removed as discipline? When was it taken..or broken? We do not really know the last time he was seen...was it Thursday or Friday? Did he go to school Thursday or no? What time did he get home Thursday night from the friend's house? What was he wearing? Did he actually have PTSD or autism? If so, why isn't the public being informed of these important facts? We need to understand what Harley was dealing with as far as official diagnoses.

I think we all know that things are not good. Harley had a tremendous urge to be online each day. He thrived on his Social Media interactions. It would be tough for him to remain distant for so long unless something, or someone, was preventing him from doing so.

Agreed and "truth never changes"

I'm not sure what you are saying here. I'm not insinuating anything when it comes to his home life. TBH I really don't care about the WHY he left, I care about why he hasn't resurfaced. The "why he left" will all be figured out when he's found. If the parents are bad, the parents will be punished eventually. There's enough of their home life for the world to see. I have a problem with the "runaway" label. Classifying him as a runaway says he voluntarily left and will voluntarily return. If he left angry and sick, he may need assistance getting back. I think there's a lot of places in this town this kid could be and a thorough search of all the little areas this kid could hide from prying eyes is necessary. I'm originally from this town and I was a runaway. Sometimes you can't make it back and you need help. The stigma of the word runaway makes it seem as if he was unruly and that might not be the case. Maybe he was just sick and frustrated that he couldn't sleep a few more hours. I don't know, but 2 weeks is a long time and I fear for this guy that this town wasn't searched well enough by LE to get to the places kids his age would retreat to.

I agree there are lots of places to hide. It sounds like school was a refuge for him so if I was him, that’s where I would hide. I knew all my school’s hiding places growing up including crawl spaces for the electrical under and behind our gym stage between the locker rooms. School has been out for the holiday break, it would make a great spot with shelter, food, bathrooms, and no one around. It just depends on how up to date the security system is whether you can bug in or not. If it’s just the doors-totally doable. Motion detectors- no way. Even if cops searched, he may have remain well hidden. I remain cautiously optimistic Yet wonder who destroyed his phone and why.

Great minds think alike! I had the exact same thought and even thought this handsome Harley favors Desiree somewhat. Then I googled Kyron’s age and realized it’s not possible.
Where is Kyron? Where is Harley?

I’ve been thinking the resemblance is uncanny this whole time too!!!!

I was under the impression his Mother broke his phone because she was mad. I could be wrong. One thing I wondered is this, he had a teacher or Vice Principal that he said was the only person he could trust that went to a different school, is it possible that Harley could have kept in contact with this individual and checked in with him to let him know that he was alright? Not tell him where he was, but just let him know that he was ok.

That has absolutely not ever been said by LE or any news. There isn't even any clear indication if his phone was either broken or taken away.

Mother "talked" to him??? Yet again more misleading information provided. So how can she determine when he left for school or that he wanted to stay home from school. I am even more bothered now.

Yep, so now we're playing word games with mom, she "talked" to him. What does that mean. She is getting in the way of finding him all by herself.

Important and relevant questions. I want to know these answers too. It first came out by the Chief that she had taken the phone from him as a disciplinary action. Then later, suddenly the phone was broken. I’m of the opinion that the phone was thrown and broken by an adult during the argumentative exchange with Harley. moo

He's a youtuber, if he had his phone he would have been posting a video IF there was enough charge to the phone and he was able to. He shared a LOT about himself on his channel(s). I just hope that he's ok,

From looking at his YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook accounts he actually wasn't on that often. I estimate once a week, when he was able to get a reliable wifi connection.

Press Conference - it’s states he didn’t have a phone that he had broken it a week before

From what I have read, the high school has been checked several times, LE did another walk through of the entire school inside and out with the Principal a few days ago. But there is a chance that he could just be hiding really, really well. The middle school is adjacent to the high school. What isn't clear to me is whether they also checked the middle school campus? A lot of Harley's videos were made when he was attending the middle school, and based on his videos he felt very comfortable there. Could he be hiding out there? Does anyone recall if LE has stated that they checked the middle school campus as well?

How did she talk to him? His phone was not working. Was she not home and he called her on the landline phone? Things are not adding up.

she probably yelled “get up and go to school!” He attempted the sick card, she yelled no way, heard the door slam and assumed he finally obeyed. Sigh. memories.

But I wonder about his phone being broken just the week before he disappeared. I have a 14 year old grandson that broke his iPhone two weeks before Christmas. He declared to his parents "grandpa will buy me a new one." Well Moi when I heard that said "no I won't."

What if Harley broke his phone before Christmas hoping his parents would buy him a new one? No they didn't, or wouldn't.

This still has me distressed. What a great little kid. I only wish the best for you Harley, but I fear the worst.

If I was him, I would hide at the middle school. I would know it better. Plus he has a more positive history there.

Mother of Harley Dilly pleads for his safe return

So when she says "When I didn't see him I talked to him there's a difference" just what does that mean?? Did she talk to him through a door as he was going out of the house? Did he call from a friends house?? But, he left from his house to go to school. So, how did the Mother NOT see him if he was at home?

If she didn't SEE him then how do we know this: when he was last seen walking to school in the morning wearing a maroon puffer jacket, gray sweatpants and black tennis shoes. : is correct information??

I went to this HS and cleaned this HS in the summers many years ago. There is a boiler room and an indoor pool area but they said they did a search. There is a camera system to my knowledge of the hallways for sure but I don't know the extent of their current system. I'm sure he wouldn't avoid detection if he hunkered down there. 14 days seems like a lifetime that he's been undetected. This is not a good sign. I would think they would be checking the marinas. There's a lot of boats that are being stored for the winter. There are too many places this guy could've gotten into. Maybe it's time to let people start looking. If LE isn't getting anywhere with leads, you would think they would encourage some local help. People want to search because they are worried. I get it that LE wants to exhaust all their leads but waiting any longer could mean either they know he's not in town or they know they won't be finding him alive. JMO

I also know that not only did he have a few issues at home, I believe he had an issue with someone on the internet. there was someone he had conflict with on reddit. There was a post where he asked the person "How the F did you find me" and the other person said something like they can always find him or something like that.

Something just doesn't feel right about any of this. I pray that Harley is ok. That's all I can do from where I am located. That, and do some digging into what the child was doing online.

The only sighting we can actually corroborate is the one by the friend’s dad that told him to go home around 7 - at the press conference it was stated he was picked up on video headed home at 7:20.

If he made it all the way home, was he locked out?

weren’t the parents dining out & drinking 35 miles away? They returned around midnight when they finally reported him missing, correct?

where would he go if he was locked out?

My fear is that they already know they won't find him alive. That is why they are covering land with cadaver dogs. I wonder if they have searched the local dump?

A member who visits WS only to incite "conflict" will be designated a "troll", and find his/her account temporarily or permanently suspended.
