It's difficult to side with and be sympathetic towards a couple who verbally berate each other in front of a 4 year old and a young teen.

Also he said his sister lived out of state because she has outstanding warrants. Now that doesn't mean much, they could be parking tickets. But it did strike me odd when I read the sister's home was searched by police. Why the need to search it? Surely she wouldn't be hiding him with all this publicity.

A couple of other things. A bunch of his YouTube vids have been taken down since this started. Which leaves me to wonder who is doing this? I would think you'd leave them up or take them all down.

As for the bit on Reddit where he said "How'd you find me?" If you follow the trail of the user, the guy he is talking to is also a teenager. So it appears to be an online gaming type friendship thing.

As for his mother, I think she often overgeneralizes. Like her use of psychiatrist. A psychiatrist is a doctor (either and MD or DO) and they are reserved for severe mental illness such as bipolar or schizophrenia.

A teen would typically on see one if they needed medications and that could take weeks. A private session would start at $400/hr

A psychologist is has an advanced degree, either a PHD or PsyD and in Ohio they can't prescribe meds, though in some states they can.

So if he was seeing anyone it would likely be a therapist with a master degree or less common bachelor's degree.

I would think his mother might be self diagnosing some of this issues or simply using wrong terms. Then again, maybe the father has great insurance

IMO There are a lot of red flags regarding the actual ‘facts’ which we know. I’m tending towards a certain direction based on these rather than all the hypotheses which are just ideas/ have no further basis right now.

The stroke and heart condition info came from somewhere in this thread. I haven’t seen any news articles stating this or when/if she suffered the stroke. I can speak to stroke conditions and deficiencies based on the severity of her stroke. There are types of strokes from TIA’s to massive blood clot strokes. Deficiencies are a result based on what side of the brain was damaged. My right brain strokes have left me with left side physical damage requiring long term rehab. Times are still sometimes confusing and my short term memory is affected. The most immediate cognitive impairment is impulse control. I still have to work with my brain through self talk and interaction with others. It’s a process. Some days are better than others.

The moms’s medical condition hasn’t been verified in any news reports that I can find.

what i've been able to determine is harley did not want to go to school friday. he used the excuse that he was sick. in my experience the sick excuse is an easy go to excuse which might cover for the real reason. i've read both that he was at school and he was not. i've read the school called mom but it went to voicemail which was full. if that is true, the school call, then to me it means he was not at school or he was at school complaining of being sick. i'd like to have LE clarify that point of at school or not and if school called mom. side point is if calls were going to voicemail that was full, i think mom was kinda lax for not being able to get voicemail considering the circumstances. i'd think open lines of communication would be number 1 at a time like this. MOO.

Which day was it the mother said she donating items to the Salvation Army? Was that on Friday the 20th? Also on the HD official page a neighbor said HD’s dad had his garbage truck there at the house that week and they were loading stuff into it? Recycling maybe?

Wow!!!. This fits with things I have read elsewhere,and by the sounds of his commentary Harley is used to this kind of behaviour,seems normal to him,how he is apologising for it and like oh you'll have to excuse them kind of thing,a bit like I have to apologise all the time for my over excitable dog when she leaps all over visitors like a thing possessed.

the image that LE has released that they say shows harley on the street is a leap of faith for me, kinda like, okay, if you say so. i think LE sometimes has images that show things pretty well and they distort or blur them intentionally to maybe hide some things. i'm not saying this is being done with this image. rather, i hope that this is what is being done. reason i say that is because if this is the best rendering of the image then i honestly don't see harley in that image.
