That’s a long time! I feel like they’ve found something to make them stay so long!

Investigators have now been in the home about 4 hours, according to Channel 8

Almost 4 hours tells me there is a lot of evidence of something criminal.

Houndpounder that would not require all the roads blocked off and this big a police presence. Something else is definitely going on.

I am just speculating but I wonder if they found that someone may have been watching Dilly from that unoccupied home. Of course, a reporter just said he wished they could mention the coat and he didn't realize he was on a live audio. So not sure what that might be about.

Perhaps the roads were all cordoned off because LE believed Harley could be alive and hiding in the area.

There are a lot scenarios.
May be someone from a house near by saw a young kid going in the house or saw lights on. For all we know Harley may have been living there. Running back and forth to his house for cloths when no one was there and grabbing money and food. So they be going through the rooms looking for evidence he was there.

Jmo, there is no scenario for what is going on over there for this length to indicate a missing child is alive and has been living in that home unnoticed for a period of time.

They're processing the crime scence of the location that child was last alive.

The Channel 11 reporter said "I wish we could say something about the coat," apparently not realizing they were streaming live on Facebook when getting ready for the 10:30 news update??

Watch the middle window in the upstairs of the house they are searching. It looks like Harley's coat is hanging on a door. That's what they are referring to :(

Even the reporter from Fox 8 News has said social media is running away with all kinds of rumors and they will only share what the authorities are confirming for them.

Thinking (fearing) it’s HD’s red puffy winter coat they’re referring to....

No matter what happens, I can not believe that it took the police 3 1/2 weeks to check the abandoned home across the street. If you are looking for a runaway, wouldn't that be the first place you look???????????

Oh, wouldn't that be nice??

However, if his parents lock the house after a certain amount of time, and his mother works from home, it's hard to factor in when he would have this kind of time...

I hope that is the answer, though.

Possiblt gunslining but I am thinking they found something in that home that points to a possible crime hence crime scene unit. JMO

News 8 live stream background chatter (not a broadcast) of cameraman also discussing that he took footage of investigators carefully combing through rubbish bins behind the house. Perhaps coat located in a bin?

I don’t think it’s abandoned. I think it’s more likely that the homeowners were away.

That would atleast make it less worse than the alternative.

If it is confirmed to be Harley’s ACTUAL COAT ...... the possibilities are horrifying

Oh, this is definitely a collection of forensic evidence happening inside and outside that property.
