Prayer chain for Harley Dilly. Police have searched a vacant home near his for two hours but say he is still missing.

Cleveland 19 News is reporting that the Sandusky Register is confirming that suspected evidence has been collected from the scene.

Large police presence on the scene. House being searched is across the street from Dilly’s home. Entire street blocked off.

Yes that's what I'm wondering, if LE was actually at two locations, which is resulting in the confusion as to what was found where etc...

I’m not referring to the Dilly home; I’m wondering if - assuming early reports are accurate that evidence but not a body are in the empty home - perhaps the person who reported the tip knows where the body CAN be found.

Please let it be so.

Fox 8 is saying the information they are sharing is coming directly from Port Clinton Police. There is a Crime Scene Unit Van on site but no coroner vehicle.

Mostly on account of it doesn't take this long to throw one of those together.

8:25 p.m. update

Port Clinton police provided the following news release to the Register:

“We are currently searching an unoccupied residence in the 500 block of Fulton St. At this time Harley Dilly is still missing.”

8:16 p.m. update

PORT CLINTON — Multiple police vehicles are outside of a home in Port Clinton. An officer told the Register this is related to the Harley Dilly case, but said this is not at the Dilly residence.

A crowd of several dozen people has gathered at the scene. Police blocked off multiple streets leading to the area.

The Register has learned police are at a house neighboring the Dilly residence where suspected evidence has been found.

Port Clinton police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are there.

Hmmmm....... so the statement released by PCPD indicates that Harley is still missing. But nothing about whether a body has been found or not?

PORT CLINTON, Ohio — There is a heavy police presence at the house near the Harley Dilly residence.

Port Clinton police could not confirm the nature of law enforcement presence on the 500 block of E. 5th Street, only that BCI is on the scene investigating.

Aside from E. 5th Street, E. 4th, E. 6th, Fulton and Washington Streets have also been blocked off.

This is no OD. There is no response of this magnitude for an OD.

Ottawa County is no where even close to the numbers of OD deaths per year to the top 3 counties of OD's in Ohio. Not by a long shot.
I believe the number last year of OD deaths in Ottawa County in 2019 was 30.
