"Oh, I haven't said anything, don't worry"

It just hit me. I think they are going to claim that KC was brutally raped at some point, conceived Caylee and decided to keep her. Hence the "mother of the year" statement by CA. Then the defense will claim some kind of PTSD or some such crapo.

This is what I've thought all along, they are going to go with trying to gain sympathy. I think to add to this, they will also say that she had a rough life, abused by family/brother, got stuck with a baby, no help from baby's daddy....blah blah blah, makes me sick. But that's what they will try, betcha my last buck. What other defense will she have since the Nanny is non existent.

No problem, insert away! I did wonder if perhaps before if KC was arrested, there had been a conversation where she was talking about what Zanny's place looked like to 'prove' her story, and she based it off Ricardo's apartment and perhaps even said 'well I have photo's of it'.
When the photos were found, as the GP's frantically looked for evidence to back up KC's story, someone else said 'hey, that's Ricardo's apartment'...which lead to Cindy telling KC she has seen the photos, then asking whose apartment it was and then finally saving KC and herself from the lie which I am sure was about to jump out of KC's mouth by blurting out 'I know whose apartment that is!'

It would explain why Ricardo's apartment was set up to look like Zanny's...it wasn't, Zanny's fake apartment was actually based off Ricardo's and KC just got caught in the lie (again).

MOO.

Good job curves. This explaination makes sense. I can buy it.
Moo?

In CA's interview with LE (I think the one on July 25th) she tells LE that KC told her that the picture of Caylee with the drums was taken in Zani"s apt. but when KC's friends gathered at the A's house, she found out that it was Ric's apt. I think she is trying to find out if KC will tell her the truth. When she realizes that KC is probably going to lie about it, she gives her an out.

okay this is probably OT but this is driving me nuts.
I keep seeing everyone call them drums in the picture. they are NOT REAL DRUMS.

they are the drum pads for a video game called rock band... this game is generally for older kids and adults, it requires too much coordination for very small children.

http://www.rockbandstore.com/detail.php?p=73377&v=rbs2_gear_playstation-2_drum

if KC is claiming that there is also one of these "drums" in ZFG apartment, that further supports the imaginanny idea. why would ZFG have a video game for older children f she is watching little caylee and "annabelle" and "zachary"?? doesn't ZFG also have children of her own, small, and thus unable to enjoy games such as rock band yet?? :waitasec:

If they are worried about this -- they could change all the locks. If they haven't well.....

Yup, you would "think" that if they knew she had a key and that "someone was threatening them" (according to Casey) they would have IMMEDIATELY gone home and changed the locks. maybe they did, I don't know for sure but I highly doubt it.

i'm confused (nothing new there) i thought the Tampa trip was supposed to have taken place during the 31 days that caylee had been missing, therefore george would already know it was a lie b/c casey couldn't very well have taken a trip with her daughter and the woman who kidnapped her (admit it - you're confused now too)
do i have the dates wrong .... again
blushing.gif

No, I'm not confused...:)

KC says she hasn't been out of the city of Orlando since May when she took a trip to Cocoa Beach. Prior to that, a trip to Jacksonville in March. So the story she told GA & CA about going to Tampa during the 31 days that her and Caylee were away and "bonding" was a lie. When she tells GA she hasn't been out of the city since her May trip to Cocoa Beach, that's when he realizes the Tampa story is a lie, and if she can lie about this trip with the nanny, then other nanny lies are prone to exist. I think this was a defining moment for him. If you watch his reaction on the first jailhouse video when she says all of this, you'll see what I mean.

Grrr. It's hard to watch and listen to her. All I see is her continually blowing them off when the subject doesn't suit her. Mostly she uses "Lee is looking after that", or "Mum, I DON'T KNOW". Undoubtedly there's all kinds of hidden clues in these recordings, but I'm afraid LE will have to sort them out. I can't stand to do it.

I really like the "I can't go into detail or I can't talk about this" line. She is opposite of clever.

I caught that the first time I saw the tape, to me it sounded like KC was assuring her mother that all the family secrets were safe, and I won't go into what those secrets could be. I am of the opinion that it didn't have anything to do with Caylee's disappearence, but I've been wrong before. JMO

I think that statement was referring to the family secrets, too. It was probably hard for CA to even mention because no one actually talks about them, they are just always there. I think the family secrets would explain a lot about this family and why KC did what she did.

It does appear that CA has some serious boundry issues, physical and more than likely emotional as well.

I totally agree with you Kat! I thought the same thing when I saw this picture.

1. they would have wanted to know if there was any life insurance on him so they could have collected it

2. social security benefits would have been available

3. he could have had rich relatives and they might have been able to weasel
errrrrr ummmmmm i mean been able get some benefit from him that way

make no mistake about it, they know who the father is
they just dont want the rest of the world to know who it is

:eek:maybe THATS what the statement was about ... "i haven't said who the father is...."

interesting.

The first time I heard Cindy say that she can't remember the name of her Granddaughter's father, I knew she was lying about the whole thing.

I think this is a very accurate statement Karenz. I, too, thought this and also thought that the A's probably had been informed that KC had also alleged that her Brother has touched her inappropiately and that she alleges that her Father had abused her in some undisclosed manner. This on top off all the other lies that KC has spewed since her first LE interview.
Whether or not those allegations are true remains to be seen. I don't think we have enough information to know if they are factual or not.
Also one of the posters above me wrote that different families have different levels of physical expressions of affection. I agree with this statement. Within my extended family there is a difference in those physical expressions and I, myself, am uncomfortable with some of my extended family and have learned to duck and evade (haha). I also saw a picture of CA and a family friend in the new release of photos (link on the news for DEC 30 thread) That I found kind of strange. I do not think that I am allowed to post the picture because my posting rules say: You may post new threads
You may post replies

I so agree...between that pic and the one with Rob D. ---- its like okay....I thought that was extremely close --- to close within the "boundry" limit----& then ga just standing there????

Still not buying it ..
IF any of what you're saying is true ..
The Anthony's definitely would have cashed in ..
Considering they have not ..

I'm still not buying it ..
None of them know who the father is ..

;}

Why is who the father is such a big secret?

Likely because it might have something to do with Lee's lawyer suggesting things might happen to Lee regarding "stuff" prior to this case. Certainly that would give a family pause in outting the father if the brother is the father.

Jane, I asked this question before on one of the threads, but didn't hear anyone remark on it.

It also keeps ringing in my ear, & have watched this visit a few times. My initial thought was that LE may have impresed on Cindy that Casey was more afraid to talk about what happened, out of fear of her mother, & Cindy was taking a forgiving approach to get her to open up! She could have meant that she was forgiving all the lies? JMO

More shocking to me, no matter how many times I watch this interview, is her demeanor as she sits down with a big "HI" & inappropriate laughter, under
such horrific circumstances, being so comfortable in JAIL!, with your daughter Missing!! It's astounding, & totally abnormal. She portrays somewhat of a celebrity-like personna, enjoying all the attention. It defies logic, that any mother, faced with the loss of their child, & accused of unspeakable charges can be so removed from the reality of a parent's WORST nightmare.
I agree! Casey's mood, reactions, and her behavior left me numb when I first saw those recorded visits! She just defies logic in any way, shape or form! I would have been an basket case, sobbing and frantic, and there she sits as if she's 'queen for a day' and the guest of honor at a party! Yes she looks as if she really is enjoying, even basking in the attention!:furious:
A very typical sociopathic reaction, I'd say!
There is really something glaringly wrong with that picture!

The brutally raped theory IMO, wouldn't fly....she would have had to report it...otherwise it will just be another one of her lies.

You're right but, I think the point CA was trying to get at with this picture was that Amy was the real babysitter that kidnapped Caylee. CA was looking for connection through clues that Zanny was really Amy. Since Amy was staying at Ricardo's and the pic was at Ricardo's which KC says was also the babysitter's, then Amy was the babysitter that took Caylee. CA knew there were no leads on an actual ZFG so she was setting up a new suspect. CA explains this entire senario in her FBI interview. KC probably didn't know what her mom was planning when she asked her about the pic but, by telling her mom it was Ricardo's apartment, it gave CA what she needed to go forth with this ridiculous, confusing story.
