Columbus police searching for high risk adult missing from East Linden

Columbus Police are seeking public assistance in locating a high risk missing adult.

James Belton, Jr. left his home around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. According to police, the 52-year old was heading to catch a COTA bus at the Joyce and Hudson stop in order to go to a doctor's appointment on Long Street. It is not clear if he ever made it to that appointment.

Police are reviewing video to see if Belton ever boarded a bus.

Belton has diagnosed mental disorders. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black leather coat with a hood and black boots.
