Dale Warner, the man accused of killing his wife in Lenawee County, declined a plea deal Tuesday ahead of jury selection.

The prosecutor said in court that the plea deal of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence was offered after discussions with Dee Warner's family.

The denial of the plea deal by Dale, 57, who was present in court on Tuesday, means the case will go to trial as jury selection got underway at Lenawee County Circuit Court.

May he come to regret rejecting that plea deal.
