This article is terrible. It says "At the time of that arrest, police still had not found any trace of Dee Warner." and "In August 2024, soon after Dale Warner was bound over for trial, police found a major piece of physical evidence in the case." They found her body, so the "No Body" murder case is no longer a "no body" case. Strange!

Following significant pressure, the Michigan State Police assumed command of the investigation by August 2022. Their efforts culminated on November 2023 when authorities arrested Dale Warner and charged him with the murder of Dee Warner, maintaining her body has yet to be discovered. Despite pleading not guilty, he remains locked as the trial date is set for September 2, 2025

The reporting on this case IMO is misguided. Continuing to refer to this as a ‘no body’ case is now so wrong. That online article ABC News 13 WTVG by WTVG Staff and Lily Lowndes from August 21, 2024 confirms the remains found were Dee Warner.
I have asked moderators to move this to Awaiting Trial status - and remove it from Missing forum. Would have been interesting to hear what then defense counsel thought or said once the remains were found in the tank on the Warner property. Watching all their protesting statements in open court on the repeat 48 Hours episode was intriguing. MOO

Wow, so he bonded out, and he has custody of Dee and Dale's minor daughter. That doesn't seem right. He is being charged with tampering with evidence in the murder of his stepmother by his father. Both Dale Warner and his son, 28-year-old Jaron Dale Warner, appeared in court on Monday, just a week after the younger Warner was arraigned on charges of tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact, according to Michigan State Police.
During the court hearing for Jaron Warner, who is Dee Warner’s stepson, a judge scheduled his preliminary examination for April 4, 2025. He is free on a $125,000 bond.

Dale’s attorneys filed a motion to dismiss his tampering with evidence charge.
The attorneys claimed evidence was not presented during the preliminary examination to explain why he was charged with tampering with evidence. They claimed the prosecutors were attempting a “trial by ambush” for not presenting the evidence during the preliminary hearing.
The judge said he is still reviewing the preliminary examination and will release his written decision as soon as he possibly can.

Warner was awarded guardianship of Dale and Dee’s young daughter in late 2023. An officer checks with Jaron to make sure the girl is not with him, then he is told he is being placed under arrest.
