Call me insane...but this story would have JDW being only 23 so I wouldn't give it too much credence and she was an older woman...but what I do glean from it is the Oak Openings Metropark which is 10 miles from JDW's home. Also what if he put victim's cars on his flat bed (wouldn't look too suspicious) and transported them where he wanted? I know creepy!!

Whoa! The circle moves... Was just coming to post that... but perhaps even more years to 1989? Is the "local" referenced in the article in Toledo area?

He said he was then employed at Vulcan Industries in Toledo, leaving when the plant closed in 1986. Worley said he worked for three years until 1982 at Art Iron Inc. in Toledo and then three months at Shininger Inc. in Delta. He said he was then employed at Vulcan Industries in Toledo, leaving when the plant closed in 1986. He worked three more years for an area farmer, court records show.

Worley also served on a grounds crew for multiple county fairs. Among his part-time employers during this period was Mike Nofzinger, 73, of Delta.

Mr. Nofzinger, then a member of the Fulton County Fair Board, said Worley did an excellent cleaning job at some point prior to 1990. The two had few interactions, he said.

Karen Lee Kohl added to the map, and I think that is a good catch! JDW worked less than a mile and a half from Karens Home in 1982. She didn't go missing from home, but her car was found in a familiar park, pretty close to where JDW attempted to abduct Robin G.
