My source tells me there were about 40 "trophy" items found on his property. Could we be looking for 40 individuals?

Sometimes Serial Killers keep several times, or trophies, from each victim. So it could be less than 40. I don't think he was smart enough to get away with that many. And he started talking about 'burying' the evidence, and outright killing them, during the time he spent in jail for the girl that escaped from him. So I don't think there were any dead victims before her.

I am guessing it is more like 10 or 15. But I could be way off.

What I see is 11 N 5th street. Which is an address, but I think he's a liar. I think he needed a reason to be linked there. He's especially a liar if he lived in Waterville for 3 years and never drove down Obee rd. We can still add it. Bc it's been noted. We just don't know when he lived there bc he said he lived at his Delta address for 22 years.

Just back from the vet, cat has allergies but was that an interesting adventure! (scratches ahoy)

Before I left I had read about 90% of the 1990 case file and noticed that JDW stated Vulcan Industries was located on King Road, Toledo. Not down by the Maumee river as we had thought. I've moved the marker but King Road is a long road and I couldn't find the exact address. It also states he worked for Lucas County fairs and Williams County fairs, as well as Fulton. Those sites have been added too.

My ex boyfriend's parents used to live on Co Rd 5. I asked him the other day if he knew JDW and he told me that you could see his property from his parent's when the fields were down. His older sister dated JDW in HS and their dad made her break up with him because he sensed something off about him. My ex said he remembers how creepy he was and would just stare at his sister for long periods of time and not say anything. After his sister broke it off with him, my ex's older brother beat the crap out of him.

I grew up in Swanton and used to walk all over town and walked from my parent's house off Main St and out to my ex's by myself or with his other older sister all the time. Maybe I was young and naive, but I never thought it was dangerous. My Uncle is a Fulton County Sheriff....in the Blade pictures and news videos, he's the sheriff escorting JDW into court. He has always told myself and my cousins to always be aware of our surroundings in case something happens. Gives me chills to think I wasn't far from his place. I think JDW was in jail during that time though. I dated my ex from May 1992 to October 1993.

graduated in 1978 from Evergreen High School in Metamora with a 1.59 grade-point average. He said he extensively used and sold marijuana from the time he was about 14 years old until 1984, court records show.

Worley said he worked for three years until 1982 at Art Iron Inc. in Toledo and then three months at Shininger Inc. in Delta. He said he was then employed at Vulcan Industries in Toledo, leaving when the plant closed in 1986. He worked three more years for an area farmer, court records show.

Worley also served on a grounds crew for multiple county fairs. Among his part-time employers during this period was Mike Nofzinger, 73, of Delta.

Mr. Nofzinger, then a member of the Fulton County Fair Board, said Worley did an excellent cleaning job at some point prior to 1990. The two had few interactions, he said.

In 2006, Ohio BWC webt after Lima Lawnmower, Inc, Toledo Turf Equipment 4329 W. Alexis Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623.

In 1997 they were sued at the same address as well as 3 named defendents. The 4329 W. Alexis Rd. would be accurate. Again, close to Sylvania Township. And less than a mile from Michigan

This is all so scary I'm so familiar with every one of these areas including King Road and all the Michigan roads in Monroe and Lenawee County.

He said that he had learned from previous abductions, and that he was going to bury the next one.

This can be taken two ways, IMO.
1) That he is using 'bury' to mean 'I am killing the next one'.
2) He has killed before, but has not bothered to bury his victims bodies. He has learned that this is something he should do going forward.

If option 1 is determined at some point to be correct, then we will find that there are a lot of abductions out there where the victim is allowed to live.
If option 2 is determined to be correct (and I think this will be the case), then we will probably find a lot of victims prior to 1990 left in the open, maybe hidden but not buried, and afterwards found with some attempt at burial.

I hope like hell I'm wrong, but I think it's going to be a lot more than 10 or 15.

That's so true. In 1999, a woman that lived about 5 houses down from me was murdered by her husband in their house. He chopped up her body and disposed of the parts throughout Michigan. She was the neighborhood Avon lady.
And he did this all while their baby was sleeping!!

From what I remember he was charged with abuse of a corpse. I think he was released around 2012.

Just sick at it all. My children and I lived on our place several years, just 8 miles from his place.

My grandma is passed but was a real wizard for detective stuff and hooked me lol. We lived down south then. I live in extreme south Michigan now for a number of years.
My view from reading all the info is that yes, there are more victims. <modsnip> JDW fits different profiles and prob experimenting and refining over the years. Info doesn't say hidden room was in or under barn. Prob maybe separate room in barn? SK's will do anything to blame others and get out if responsibility. Arrogant pathological liars though not always very bright. Big game players and control freaks. Most likely chose current atty for the simple reason he knows him and possibly thinks can be manipulated.
Fulton co courts can be a nightmare. <modsnip> Though I have not had any criminal experience with them I have seen a tremendous amt of this in the court there.
I think there never was a motorcycle. MO would dictate a vehicle. And help.

8 minutes I meant not 8 miles. Thank you for welcome! I am retired professional as is one of my sister's, in these areas. She lives way south state but as seen way too much of this.
The roads these incidents happened on are roads I recently took to Toledo and back to reduce traffic and speed. Right down these roads. I lived in these areas for a number of years.
From reading everything, he strikes me as someone who feels persecuted picked on and somewhat powerless, and that society owes him for this. Thus maybe his inclination to begin, or just his excuse. Perps like this always blame everyone and everything else. They enjoy the games and attention as well. Pity and Poor Me abound greatly.

It may have actually been coincidence that he was linked and caught as if he was being watched, it would have happened sooner. Good police work I think.
The way they will link and secure him to everything is evidence through DNA and material evidence, and possibly his confession or that of his family. That is just my humble opinion.
I always stress situational awareness to my children. And I wonder if this poor beautiful young lady had had a large dog with her if she would have been so easy a target?
We all seek to find meaning in some part of tragedies we suffer. I believe Ce did fight and injure him, finally shaking his ego and pointing the finger directly at him. Monster is what he is. There will be a psyche veal and he may try for insanity defense. I will pray it does not happen.
I cried too on that horrible day she was found, though I never knew her, and now I am filled with anger and there must be retribution of a grand scale. Just no other words to describe my heart but a deep love and compassion for this family.

My humble opinion about the corn being trampled was that she had a scary instinct and he was probably stalking her. Thinking she was so close to home, thought maybe she would hide in corn till he passed and then go home. He stopped his vehicle, disabled her quickly, then came out of corn with her and left. This would have happened very quickly. She would not have been geared to suspect such a thing, confident he would pass and she could then get home quickly.
He didn't expect her to fight, prob left all items there then. He didn't expect the search to begin in earnest so rapidly and had to get rid of evidence quickly. MO dictates he would pick a place he was comfortable with and knew, for reason of control. At this point he had escaped detection for so long, didn't believe he would be caught.
He had organization to a point. But panicked when his control was lost and got sloppy.
Only my opinions please understand.
