I didn't know that either. I remember this murder so well, and it always bothered me that it remained unsolved. Back when it happened people kept mentioning a tool being used, a tire iron or pry bar.

He did drive into Indiana there is documentation he transported oversized loads of mobile homes/manufactured homes into Indiana. According to court records Worley was actually a pretty late in life baby. Court records put his birth to at around 38 years.

This is all so scary I'm so familiar with every one of these areas including King Road and all the Michigan roads in Monroe and Lenawee County.

Same here! I grew up and lived for 20 yrs 2 blocks from the state line off Whiteford N. Of Alexis. My teen years (80s) were just crazy and my girlfriends and I were out all night in NW Ohio amd SE Michigan. We used to get rides to Roscoes (a teen dance club) in Toledo and sometimes we didn't have a ride home and would walk all the way home at 1 am, so scary !! Many times guys stopped is amd asked if we wanted a ride . And more than once (after we had our own cars to drive ) we broke down up in Michigan countryside and had to walk miles in dead of the night. We once even accepted a ride from a total stranger on a dirt road surround by corn fields! I can't tell you how lucky I feel to still be alive!

My family is pretty much from the lovely area known as dogpatch in Sylvania and were in a rough and tumble bar at Alexis and Whiteford. Im a stones throw from Yankee now actually off of T in the Berkey area.

I have read this evening on a missing persons site, a woman is saying Worley confessed to murdering her sister, who has been missing 20 years!

I am familiar with the rules here, so I'll just ask, has anyone seen or heard anything like this from a " legit " source/link?

I'm interested to see what they have to say. I was looking for more info on her just yesterday, and didn't come up with much.

Something about her has struck me since I first saw her (as far as jdw being responsible), but I have no reason for feeling that way. If he is responsible, he was very very brazen at a very young age!

The way the article is worded, it sounds that they may have come across a lead in existing casework, and this could be a timing coincidence like there was with Chelsea early on in Sierahs case.

Has this girl been considered? She was from Taylor, Michigan. Her body was found in 1980 in Swanton, OH. She had blows to the head with a hammer. I can't find much more about her though.

Thank goodness for DNA now, maybe we have a couple of serial killers out there.............and I sincerely pray these victima and heir families all get closure for their loved ones and justice!
