Man still missing following aerial, K-9 search of Kokosing Gap Trail

The search began at 12 p.m. Sun at Kokosing Gap Trail entry point on Mount Vernon Avenue.
LE officers found a vehicle belonging to Taylor in the lot with its door hanging open.
Inside, officers located personal items belonging to Taylor, along with the keys to the vehicle.
Officers were able to contact members of Taylor's family, and one indicated Taylor was "having personal problems and had said he intended to harm himself.”

LE state the investigation is ongoing, and that Taylor has been listed as a missing person.

I did not see a physical description of Jason Taylor.

“The most beautiful section of the trail is between Mount Vernon and Gambier, where the trail runs alongside the Kokosing River, including crossing the river twice on long bridges”
