Cleveland Heights police ask for help locating missing 48-year-old woman

Jennifer Howard was last seen on Friday at her residence in the 3000 block of Monticello Boulevard, according to a Cleveland Heights police Facebook post.

Howard is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 135.

She has brown hair and eyes.

Her family is concerned for her well-being after she left home without her car or phone, the post said.

She has underlying medical conditions.

Authorities did not say what she was wearing.

Thank you for posting this. Jennifer is a intelligent, quirky woman. This is very, very out of the ordinary for her. The fact that she only took her laptop is strange. She is extremely consistent and reliable and just started a new job. No new information is available at this time.

I agree it's strange to just take a laptop. This is very worrisome and I hope and pray that she is OK.

Pure speculation follows - if she was carrying her laptop do you think that she might have been meeting someone to fix/sell her laptop? Or could she have been walking to a nearby business to do a little work on her laptop (maybe while enjoying some coffee, etc.)?

Was the internet down at her house and she was going elsewhere? Only mentioning that because when I just looked at downdetector it shows Spectrum in Cleveland Heights as having ongoing problems (just using that as an example).

Are they sure that she took her laptop and no one else? Has anyone tried to track her laptop (link below)?

I also noticed there's a park close by to Monticello Blvd. (Forest Hill Park) - has it been searched? Have they checked area cameras for her?
