The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has identified the man found dead in a wooded area outside Doylestown as Jeremy Dean Lesh, 44, of Perry Township in Stark County...

Wayne County Sheriff's Office Cpt. Doug Hunter said he was killed in a brutal attack...

They say Lesh's family reported him missing on Saturday as they hadn't seen him since Christmas...

The area where the body was found is commonly used as a dump site. Police don't believe he was murdered there, and they are uncertain as to where that took place.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help in finding a vehicle belonging to the victim of a homicide...

The truck is a white 1996 Chevy S10 with an extended cab. There is a blue cap on the truck’s back and ladder racks as well. The license plate is Ohio, GUD 7192. The sheriff’s office say that although the vehicle may be driving around, it’s more likely that it’s been abandoned.

http://www.the-daily-record.com/news/20170905/stark-county-man-gets-15-to-life-in-prison-for-murder

Damon A. Seibert, 42, 210 Murray Ave., Minerva, pleaded guilty to murder in Wayne County Common Pleas Court.

He was sentenced to an agreed-upon sentence of 15 years, and up to life in prison. As a part of the plea deal, Assistant Prosecutor John Williams added that the state will not object to Seibert’s parole at his minimum eligibility date.

A choked up Seibert read a letter to the Lesh family, who was not in court Tuesday, despite messages left for them by the victim advocate.

“I’m truly sorry for taking Jeremy’s life... my friend of 33 years,” Seibert said. “I will have to think about this the rest of my life.”
