Bridgeport Police say Jerry Bowman hasn't been seen since March 22, but he apparently used his key card to his apartment in Bridgeport Manor on March 23.
Police Chief John Bumba says they've received tips about potential sightings, but they've turned out not to be him.
Chief Bumba says they've entered Bowman into NCIC and SIMS (nationwide law enforcement databases), they've searched his apartment a second time, and they've tracked his bank account, but haven't found anything significant.
There's been no activity on his bank account, according to the chief.
Bowman is 72 years old, five feet eleven inches tall, with graying hair and hazel eyes.
He is hearing-impaired and was known to walk through Bridgeport, Martins Ferry, Wheeling and the Ohio Valley Mall, often wearing pajama pants.
Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
