CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Authorities on Wednesday released a composite sketch of person of interest in abduction investigations in*Cleveland and*Elyria.

The sketch is based on an interview with a person who interacted with the man near*West 104th Street before he abducted a 6-year-old girl from her home near Western Avenue, the Cleveland FBI said in a news*release.

Forensic evidence from the abduction matched evidence from an Elyria home where a 10-year-old girl said an unknown man tried to pull her through her bedroom window in February, FBI Special Agent in Charge Steve Anthony said at a Friday news conference.

Police in Lorain also believe three attempted abductions the same morning are "closely linked" to the Cleveland and Elyria cases.

Probably just a weird coincidence but it is eerie how closely this sketch resembles the guy that rescued little Lana Lowther from the snow...

Between 3 and 4 a.m., Nevaeh's mother told us she sensed something strange.

"Someone woke me up out my sleep, opened up my bedroom door and stared. I acted like I was sleeping, and I called my mom and my mom was like, 'No, Kristy. I'm awake. There's no one in the house,'" said Jones.

Nevaeh's grandmother reported seeing the little girl sleeping on the couch at that time and then went to sleep herself.

This is really weird to me...I mean if someone opened my bedroom door and was staring at me, as soon as I felt that I could, I would be up checking on things. And why was the grandmother so sure nobody was in the house? She was up between 3-4 am and then went to sleep? or Kristy woke her up, she checked on the girls, and then went back to sleep? I would have been scared to death if I really thought some unknown male was staring at me in my house in the middle of the night! This just seems so unusual...

I think there is a resemblance, but I'm sure LE has already checked him out because of that. Surely all they would have to do is show NW this interview of him on the news and she would be able to tell them if he was the man or not...I surely don't want to cast suspicions on this Good Samaritan that found this precious child in the snow.

Please hold off on posting the comparison photo for now. But, I will try to find the best way for you to submit this tip & will post it here as soon as I do. Whether or not LE is already investigating this angle, it definitely can't hurt to make sure they're aware of it!

I haven't heard anything else about this. I don't know if LE has followed up on our suspicions or anything else. It is very odd that I can't find any updates, especially after LE admitted there was a link to other abductions.

I am anxiously awaiting more info too or an update of some kind. But, it hasn't been that long (I'm trying to be patient) and I'm positive that LE is doing a lot of work behind the scenes. Just my opinion, but I think this case it probably one of their top priorities. Thankfully so far, the worst case scenario hasn't come to fruition, but there is always a possibility of it happening the next time. LE knows this. They are trying their best to make sure there can't and won't be a next time.

Another thought. IF he didn't harm NW (we don't know for sure do we?) could this guy have some type of hero complex?

That is a really interesting thought, and might not be as far-fetched as I originally thought when I first read your post. Hypothetically, these crimes could be dually motivated (fulfilling both a sexual desire and the desire to be publically recognized and appreciated). This might explain why someone would draw attention to themselves, even if it was extremely risky and exponentially increased the risk of them being caught.
