Online games. I have a 4 yr old grandson who plays them all the time. But he can't read either yet so I have no idea how children that young could communicate?

OK, well it's clear that press conference went on so long because of DeWine's involvement with getting the use of familial DNA approved in Cleveland, and his run for Governor. Lots of pats on the back going on.

So this has a family member whose DNA was somewhere in the system, and that's what ultimately led to him, even though a conflicting statement was made about DNA not being the end factor that led to his arrest (unless I completely misunderstood that).

They are still investigating other crimes with a similar M.O., but no DNA evidence so they are still working on those cases.

He had a previous record - minor, drug related. Not sex related.

FB friend lists can be very very misleading though. Sometimes it looks like someone may know or be friends with (or mutual friends with) someone else, and they've never actually met them in their life.

True. The person did share the report of NW missing, so I guess I assumed they were related.

So glad they finally caught this creep...if it is him, and I think they must be sure.

I am guessing that although they had him nailed on the DNA, they also arrested him after his car matched up with the suspect car. They make it sound like the DNA is not their only evidence that this is him. Also, I wonder if once they ID'd him on the DNA, someone in his circle of friends or family has provided statements that implicate him.

I am SO thankful he is finally caught! This will protect children!

I'm assuming that after they got a lead on him from the DNA, there were some search warrants issued on some homes. If I recall, NW was able to give specific details about wallpaper in a room she was in and some other surprising detail for a six year old. Car parts also had to be somewhere.

The suspect’s father also said he had questions for his son after first seeing security video police put out as they tried to identify a suspect. He said, "I did say something. I said, ‘Justin, that looks like you.’ But then I thought, that's not in my son's character, and whatever he said about it. And then that conversation never happened again."

Like some here suspected - there were people out there who recognized him from the photos and security video, but none of them came forward. Nice folks.

Full indictment from the Grand Jury here (Warning: Graphic). That poor girl. I hope she's getting counseling and is able to get over this.

3 counts of rape

8 counts of kidnapping

2 counts of aggravated burglary

1 count of tampering with evidence (possibly related to the scrapping of his car after it had been identified in the security video)

Also assume they were able to obtain DNA directly from the perp once he was arrested, matching it to the 2 victims.

County prosecutor Tim McGinty has a pretty good record, so this guy is probably going away for a long time.

My four year old reads some words, my seven year old reads chapter books. Some social media like Snapchat use video.

I didn't see the pc, so I apologize if I have it wrong. Did they say SHE was on social media? The little girl? Because I would assume it was something like he saw pics of her on a parent page. And found her after that. Not that she was actually on sm. Does that makes sense according to what they said? I'm so angry at this creep. And so glad they got his nasty butt.
