I thought a woman saw him in the car and ran inside screaming where the officers were eating
I wondered about that too. We’ll probably get more details soon

How could the car be still running if it was parked for 2 days?

If it was there for 2 days, the kidnapper must have been there some of the time---maybe overnight with the baby, holding him, feeding him etc....

I don't think the car could have been running for 48 hours , or the baby all alone for 48 hours, no food or water?

I had feared the worst and I’ve never been so happy to be wrong in my life. Tears of joy. finally A happy ending, we’ve had so much awful news lately. My heart is full at the thought of this family reunited.

Car left running uses a lot less gas as far as I can tell. I guess it's also possible that since she is homeless she would come back to sleep in the car if truly the car was parked there for two days.

No, that doesn’t make sense at all. I think the initial stories are probably going to change somewhat once all the details get processed

If the car was running all this time it may be one of those menorah miracles.. but I think it’s more likely he was bundled up and well cared for prior to being abducted and he’s a little trouper.

I’m just... there were literally officers in the pizza joint where this car was parked.. and officers didn’t notice it?
It's dark car with tinted windows. But I am surprised myself that nobody noticed it for several days, if it truly was left running for days.

Or the employees? The car is right outside the front door

I hope the person who found baby Kason gets the reward money, as she likely saved that child's life.

I wonder if pizza places have some significance to the perp.

Were the officers in the pizza restaurant? I thought the article I read said that the officers were in a restaurant nearby. Anyway, somebody walking by must have heard the baby crying, or how did they know he was in the car if there were tinted windows.

Also, had there been an amber alert already in Indiana?

My understanding was just a BOLO But I’m not sure. so I would have thought officers in the area would have seen the car. It has a very distinct appearance with the broken bumper torn tag and toy store sticker.

Oh, wow. Honestly did not expect that outcome.

I truly hope this Christmas miracle is just the start of things looking up for that mama and her boys. No mama of twin five month olds should be having to Door Dash with the babies in the car just to make ends meet. (Not a judgement on her; totally a judgement on our society.)

Did I read somewhere that she often stole cars that were left running? If these were areas of significance maybe the because of delivery drivers, left their cars running while picking up the next delivery. I use to work at Pizza Hut in my 20's and the delivery cars would be lined up on the curb, running while the drivers picked up another delivery.

Neither was I. I hope she has an outpouring of continued support to help her make ends meet. This is a sweet ending we need with all going on in the world.
