The car and baby were found at the Lockefield Commons Shopping Center. There are lots of surrounding apartments. I wonder how she got to I-65 though, that would be a pretty far trek.

I live in Indianapolis and I did not get an Amber Alert. Were the officers in the pizza restaurant? I thought the article I read said that the officers were in a restaurant nearby. Anyway, somebody walking by must have heard the baby crying, or how did they know he was in the car if there were tinted windows.
Also, had there been an amber alert already in Indiana?
He was found in the nick of time. I don't think he would have survived overnight in the car. The weather turned extremely cold.It looks so cold where they found him. The wind was crazy

I 65 is just a couple blocks away. This is also very near multiple large hospitals and is quite busy. The car and baby were found at the Lockefield Commons Shopping Center. There are lots of surrounding apartments. I wonder how she got to I-65 though, that would be a pretty far trek.

This is a very busy area with several restaurants. I can’t believe no one noticed the car for two days. Even if they didn’t know about the Amber Alert I would think some one would have seen and reported a baby left inside a car.I’m just... there were literally officers in the pizza joint where this car was parked.. and officers didn’t notice it?

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (WCMH) — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana on Friday filed a new charge against Nalah Jackson — accused of abducting two five-month-old twins in Columbus — stacked onto the other charges she already faces.
Jackson, 24, received a felony battery of bodily waste against a public safety officer charge for allegedly spitting on one of the sheriff’s deputies at the detention processing center, according to an affidavit, after she was arrested on the side of the road in Indianapolis on Thursday afternoon. The Columbus Division of Police initially announced the new charge coming from Indiana law enforcement via Twitter.

Jackson — who remains in custody Friday morning in Indianapolis and has previously been identified as homeless — had a documented record suggesting she was a flight risk for court.
She was brought to jail and released at least ten times in the last two years, according to Franklin County Municipal Court and Franklin County Court of Common Pleas documents obtained by NBC4, including as recently as three weeks before Kason and Kyair Thomas were taken.

She left him in a car and as far as I can tell didn't even tell police where the car was after she was arrested. What I want to know is how long she was with the second twin, and how long he was alone. Also, what did she do when she was with the babies.. did she talk nicely to them, give them a bottle, comfort, anything, or god forbid she did anything harmful/cruel to them.
