I have not been a regular poster in Katelyn's threads but have kept a watch on them since early on. Knew it wasn't real likely but was hoping for a different kind of homecoming. I am glad she is found, though, glad and sad. Prayers for all who love her and for all of you who have followed her case so faithfully.

I expected this ending. Doesn't change the fact that it's a sad outcome though. I'm now very curious as to the investigation and bringing justice. Someone murdered her. I have my own opinions and theories which I'm certain are shared by others on ws. Katelyn was beautiful and full of life. Whoever ended it needs to pay.
Fly high Katelyn. Send help to the investigators so your killer can be found.

He has been questioned, he was the last one to see her alive, etc.

ETA: There is other stuff, too, but it's late here in the Buckeye State, and my head is foggy from cold medicine. There was some indication that a neighbor had overheard them fighting the night she disappeared, and his activity the day she was reported missing was weird, IMO. I'm sure there's a lot of info on here if you read the old threads.

These are exactly my feelings too. However, I had come to think she'd be one of the ones whose remains would never be found. I am shocked they were and glad that her family can put her to rest. I hope it also brings her justice.

Rest in peace, Kaitlyn. Paint the sky.

Expected, but like a punch to the stomach anyway. So sad-she was so beautiful and had so much potential.

I think boyfriend was necessarily suspicious just because he was the boyfriend, last to see her alive, all that stuff. But, he was never officially named a suspect and I am always careful to accuse before anything is certain. However, I strongly suspect some of my early suspicions will turn out to be true.

I'd love to get this thread going, but I can't think of anything to say...there seems to be NO news on Katelyn at all, not a hint or clue, since the night she vanished. I really don't think LE knows any more than we do; sure, they may have their suspicions, but those and four dollars might get them a cup of coffee...

On the 2nd page on radio interview, John refers to her in the past tense
it was not that long only a week! I'll eat crow if I'm wrong but something is wrong. I live fairly close to Fairfield ,Ohio and the place in Indiana where she was found is on my way to casinos there, very farm country.

Oh I have always had my feelings about him. If she was really found near property his family is associated with, it seems far too coincidental.

I,am very relieved she has been found. A terrible outcome, but I have felt she was gone from the start. She would not have left her life. That was never an option in my mind.

I agree. I have to go back and re-read all the facts of this case, but didn't he go on NG and tell her he had taken a polygraph, when he actually hadn't?
