WEST CHESTER TWP.- A Butler County grand jury on Thursday indicted a West Chester police officer on three felony charges for allegedly releasing classified information.

Officer David Busemeyer, 37, of Hamilton Township in Warren County, a nine-year veteran of the department, faces charges of obstruction of official business, obstruction of justice and attempted tampering with evidence.

“When you are a police officer and you have loose lips, it can jeopardize investigation and the safety of others and that’s what this is all about,” Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser said.

Neither Gmoser nor township police officials would go into detail about the case saying it is a sensitive matter and still under investigation.

i dont know to me it seems pretty weird that ks has conntections with katelyn and bd and they both go missing from the same area within the same year and both have tight connections to her... i cant seem to get that outta my head. to me and from wat ive seen on tv any detective would put those connections together and immediatly interview to see why the connection was so close and so conisedental(sp?) or not....

Perhaps someone that always had money but never had a job.

It’s been three weeks since anyone has seen or heard from the 22-year-old.

I wish we knew more about the family dynamics. We know Katelyn was adopted and supposedly from someone in the family. Why havent we heard the birth or adopted mother say anything? We hear very little from her family. And why did he mean "No questions asked?"

I haven't read thru the whole thread so I don't know if this has been answered, KM was adopted my understanding is she knew she was adopted but didn't know that someone in the family was her birth mother. She found that out 2 years ago and has struggled with it. I have been told both the birth mom and adopted mom have some "challenges" and out of respect will keep it at that.

BLUE ASH - Police here are looking for a man who tried to force a girl into his vehicle at knifepoint.

The girl, whose age was not released, told police that she was jogging in the area of Cooper and Hunt roads around 4:45 p.m. when a man in a black car tried to force her into his vehicle.

Although the man was armed with a knife, “the victim was able to escape and call for help,” and the would-be kidnapper drove away, police said.

This is only about 30 minutes from Fairfield. Makes me wonder if there really is someone who is targeting these young girls... I hope they can get him now that they have a description of a vehicle....

The girl told the police that this incident DID NOT happen! She changed her story. Police say the report is unfounded.

I so know this feeling! I get very emotionally involved in so many cases and my husband asks why I keep coming back. I can only say it feels wrong not to care and be aware of these people. Also, I have to have hope for them.

I do not understand how Katelyn is missing without a trace. It breaks my heart.

Still No Sign Of Missing Fairfield Woman

FAIRFIELD, Ohio -- Two months after she was last seen, the whereabouts of a Fairfield woman remain unknown.

No new news in the article... just announcing the benefit is the 22nd. I hope the benefit brings someone responsible for this out of the woodwork or maybe by people brain storming a new clue will develop!

I find it odd, considering all the drug talk on the facebook pages, that no one has mentioned the Oct. 12 (I think that is the date) drug bust in Hamilton. This was the result of a year long investigation. They got ~18 out of the ~36 people they had warrents for. ~18 are still at large. I just wonder if this year long investigation has anything to do with the lack of info coming from the police.

Hamilton and Fairfield mesh together. Really no border between the two. And the lines are really close to Katelyn's residence.
