Press Release 19-659:

Monica Greenwell filed a missing person report with the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department on 1/7/19 at 1025 hours in reference to her 17 year old daughter, Kayla Ramirez. Kayla was last spoken to on 1/7/19 around 0030 hours. She may have left the house with a bag containing clothing but left her cell phone. She has not reported to school. Kayla's mother feels this is out of character for her daughter.

Anyone knowing her current location is encouraged to contact the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department at 330-928-2181 or your local police department as soon as possible. Any other helpful information may go to Detective Anders and McIlvain at 330-971-8334 (the detectives' number is not monitored 24 hours a day).

Kayla Ramirez has been missing since early Monday morning 1/7/19. She went missing sometime between 1230am and when school started when she was reported absent. We are trying to raise money for a reward for finding Kayla and bringing her home safely. Her mom Monica and close friends and teammates miss her dearly. She is a fiesty, gritty, tough starting point guard on the varsity basketball team with relentless energy. Friends and family have put that same effort in searching tirelessly for her since Monday morning. Please help by donating towards the reward and any other expenses that Monica and the search party may incur with finding Kayla.
