No! Poor little dear, completely defenseless and dependent on adults to take care of her.

I am glad she was found quickly and not left in the elements for days, weeks, months.

I take no satisfaction that we here at WS strongly suspected the outcome. We knew, but still hoped for something better. (At least he led LE to the body.)

So...what is this guy's story going to be?

Shortly after last pc LE got info on Kaylynn.
Car seat was also recovered.
Charles Crawford, father, is in custody.
Story of abduction was fabricated.
Condolences to Kaylynn's family.

Kaylynn's remains were found near Glendale Milford Road by the Kelley Nature Preserve.

Crawford led police to Kaylynn's body Monday, sources tell WLWT News 5. She was strapped in her car seat, dead.

I'm not clear on whether Kaylynn was found in the river or near the river. The dive boats came and went earlier without being taken off the trailer.

It's also interesting that Crawford's car was processed at his girlfriend's apartment - that must be the address he had trouble giving to the 911 dispatcher. I bet he was never at the Dollar General store. LE said any surveillance video from there was "useless." That could mean they couldn't find him on tape.

I'm sorry about the outcome for poor baby Kaylynn but I'm grateful that criminals on the whole are really stupid.
