Perfect example in December of LE allowing him to plea down his charge! Grrrr, this makes me so angry!!!!!!!
I just wanted to comment on this because a lot of people think it is LE allowing the plea. After LE investigate and turn in the report, it's in the DA's hands. They are the ones who give plea deals. My husband is a cop and it infuriates him anytime his cases are plead out with a lesser charge, but his hands are tied.

im thnking it is another baby. kaylynn wouldn't have been born until march.

Maybe, just maybe, had he been made to serve time for the original crime, KayLynn would be alive today.

Crawford is threatening to stick a knife in his wife's neck and take her far away so no one will find her, yet she has a newborn daughter? This incident happened on Dec. 26, so Mama let him see baby. If baby was here on Dec 26, then she is like 7 months old now. His threat from December seems very serious to me, and he should not have gotten out of it! Another live, learn, and regret it.

closer to five.

That's when she claims the car ride became abusive. According to the affidavit, Robinson said quote, "he then got on the 75 s ramp and said "expletive I came to put expletive knife to your neck."

The document goes on to read, "he found messages from me and my friend's conversation over the past week." She says she feared for her life because he hit her repeatedly.

According to Kaylynn's mom, Crawford wanted to take her to Kentucky where no one could find her and she couldn't get a phone.

She says she jumped out the car when it slowed down. Crawford threatened to leave here there if she didn't get back in the vehicle. She got back in the car. She says he continued to threaten her life and the lives of her family. She says in the document, "I gave him the baby because I feared what he'll do if he didn't get her."

After Crawford failed to attend anger management and was ordered to go again. Before his arrest this Monday afternoon, he was on probation.

If this really is Kaylynn's mom then she would have been almost three months pregnant at the time. No mention of it in the articles. I guess we'll hear more in the next few days...

Yes, it had to have been another child, but perhaps the same mother. We don't know yet, but the first name and middle initial match.

Either way, it's clear that the murderer did not suddenly become violent on the day of KayLynn's death. He was a time bomb, it sounds like.

I pray she didn't suffer like baby chance!!! :(

"Dottie Smith, a Clermont County prosecutor, said during the Tuesday hearing Crawford confessed to his role in the child's death. Smith said the allegations were horrific."

I guess that excludes some sort of accident like leaving baby Kaylynn in a hot car. Now we wait for the COD. I'm afraid there will be more than one horror.

this is true. and there is a law in CA and im sure in other states that the DA can choose to file charges with the victim's cooperation or not, but many times the victim wont cooperate and without solid evidence, they get the low plea or nothing.

Prosecutor says Charles Crawford confessed to dropping 4 month old Kaylynn into Little Miami River

I'm a little confused: Investigator Kidd said Kaylynn's remains were found alongside the river bank. And this article says:

Police found her remains Monday afternoon on the banks of the Little Miami not far from where Crawford reported the abduction, according to Savalas Kidd of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal investigation. Autopsy results are still pending.

At a bond hearing Tuesday morning, Crawford said very little and did not enter a plea. Family members had no comment. A Clermont County judge set his bond at $2 million and ordered him to stay away from anyone less than 18 years old.

Clermont County Assistant Prosecutor Dottie Smith said Crawford admitted to dropping Kaylynn into the river.

My bolding.

Warning! Slightly graphic.

All I can think of is that CC dropped her in shallow water? Since she was found in her car seat it's not likely she floated to the bank. I'm probably overthinking this.

I'm so sorry Kaylynn :( May you fly high with the angels now, forever happy and free!

Do you think that Kaylynn could already be dead in the picture on her "missing" poster? There's something about the position of the baby in her seat that just doesn't look quite right. I wonder if the father took the picture for fake evidence that she was alive at the time the photo was taken.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the missing poster.

I posted back a couple of pages ago that I too found the picture disturbing, the angle of her left foot and lips and the angle that the picture was taken.
I'm confused too as to the "admittance" and where MSM is saying she was actually found. I've been waiting to see if they release any docs to clear this up.
So far I haven't seen any, anybody else??

I thought the photo was odd too. The angle/posture of her body looks off....not to mention uncomfortable. I wondered why anyone would take THAT photo when babies offer so many adorable opportunities for snapshots....why take one in a car seat where the child doesn't look as cute as she obviously really was. I don't know if it is a "before" or "after" photo....but it definitely struck me as strange.

Me too. And I mentioned in my post a few pages back that I found it odd that it appears to be front facing. I thought infants were supposed to be rear facing until a certain weight, height or age or all above. My kids are adults so I'm not up on the latest rules regarding carseats and positioning and such.
