I thought the photo was odd too. The angle/posture of her body looks off....not to mention uncomfortable. I wondered why anyone would take THAT photo when babies offer so many adorable opportunities for snapshots....why take one in a car seat where the child doesn't look as cute as she obviously really was. I don't know if it is a "before" or "after" photo....but it definitely struck me as strange.

I hate to say this ...............sleeping? or her last photo deceased?

I've got 5 kids from almost 2 up to 16 and they've all fallen asleep at terribly awkward positions in those bucket seats... Suggestion is now (if not law depending on state) to rear face until at least 2 years. And I'd wondered if the pic may have been taken while she wasn't in the car. I do agree though about the pic looking "off."

I don't think she's in a car. How could the picture be taken? I have tons of pictures of my neice in her car seat. When my sister would go somewhere with her, she would stay in the car seat.

So many people, countless people, treat children like trash. My husband is a pastor and we see it every day. They may not necessarily kill them, but they sure don't raise them right. A lot of parents are spaced out on drugs, or just plain selfish and oblivious. It's a sick, sad world out there.

Case in point: A couple has been charged with child neglect after their toddler was found wandering the streets in a diaper. They left him home alone while they went out for 90 minutes to play Pokemon Go. Their response to law enforcement: "Whatever."

This is the disgusting mentality we're dealing with, folks. It's heartbreaking. I pray for a wake up call and some serious soul searching. God help us.

Rest in peace, little one. I hope you didn't suffer.

That is the problem I was having. She does not look like a 4 month old in that picture, yet she was reported wearing the same clothes in the picture. I guess it will be interesting to find out what she was wearing when she was found.

The newspaper article quoted at the beginning of this thread, said that the picture was taken the day she disappeared. I'll hunt up the article. ...

A picture provided of the infant was taken Sunday and she should still be wearing the same clothes. Her age was later corrected to four months.

Police spent the morning processing Crawford’s car at his girlfriend's apartment nearby.

"This clearly is not the outcome that we were hoping and praying for today,” Loveland Police Chief Sean Rahe said. “We would like to offer our sympathies again to Kaylynn's family."

Charles Crawford has been charged with one count of aggravated murder. He is being held at the Clermont County Jail. His bond has not been set.

He will be arraigned Tuesday at 10 a.m. http://www.wlwt.com/news/search-for-missing-infant-continues-in-loveland/40998542
have not seen any updates, but from reading is there a wife and older baby? girfriend with Kaylynn and yet another girlfriend?
I'm confused now...............

I couldn't hear much watching the bond hearing, because my kids were being rowdy but a wife was mentioned. The footage I saw was posted on the "Justice for Children Without Voices" FB page. Even though it was set at 2million cash, I was shocked and angry it was granted at all.

Does anyone know what the charge of aggravated murder means in this case? In MD 'aggravated' meant 'with a weapon', but I know it can have different meanings. TIA.

For some reason, I'm not able to edit on mobile. I wanted to add my condolences to KayLynn's family.
I think it's safe to assume that we all knew from the beginning exactly how this was going to end and exactly who was responsible. I really wish we had been wrong.

From your link:

Charles Crawford, the Mount Healthy man accused of drowning his months-old daughter in late July, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole, according to a release from the Clermont County Prosecutor's Office.
...
Ultimately, Crawford led police to his daughter's body. He later confessed to purposefully putting the girl in the river while she was still strapped into her car seat.

I'm new to this case. RIP little angel [emoji253]

I just wanted to say that I also found the picture disturbing and unnatural. It make me think that he may have harmed her which made her floppy, which was why he then killed her to cover his tracks.
