TOLEDO, Ohio — Darnell Jones, the man accused of
killing and raping his 13-year-old daughter in March, appeared in court Wednesday morning where his attorney said he planned to pursue an insanity defense, but needed more time do do so.

Klucas ultimately asked for more time to establish an insanity defense, as it was up to his team to establish a burden of proof - something typically required of the state. When asked, he said he would need until approximately early December.
The judge agreed to this, and gave Klucas a deadline of Dec. 8.
