TOLEDO, Ohio — UPDATE: Keimani Latigue's body was found at a house in east Toledo Monday afternoon before 1:30 p.m., according to Keimani's grandmother.

Police confirmed to WTOL 11 there is a body in the house, but described the body as "unidentified".

WTOL 11 has sent a crew to the 1100 block of Miami Street in east Toledo to gather more information.

I found some of his records online. Darnell Jones, aka Darnell Ogletree. DOB 06/17/1991.

This is based on the current warrant out for him, see attached.

ETA: I notice one of his earlier charges is arson. It's from quite awhile ago (2011) but I did think of the news reports which have mentioned that the gas was left on in the house from which Keimani was missing.

It was said she was abusive to Keimani, so I expect shortly we will learm if that’s true and she was part of what caused her death.

Very sad to learn she has been found deceased.

I'm trying to piece together the under clothes, pajamas, and glasses. The mention of those things has bothered me since day one. I believe there was also mention of a stove burner being on or something.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Lucas County Coroner's Office confirmed Monday evening the body found inside an abandoned house in east Toledo is Keimani Latigue, a 13-year-old girl reported missing from north Toledo last week.

The coroner's office did not provide further information about the cause or manner of death.

Just speculating here but ... it's sounding like many people in Keimani's life let this girl down ?

I think she grew up having to be a bit more street smart that a normal 13yr old. I think she had family members but they also could have had to as well so it was normal to them. I don't know this I'm just thinking out loud however the biggest problem we have here from what I can tell is, this wasn't a stranger who stalked and knew she was alone, it appears so far at least that this was caused by those who should have protected her. Her own family member(s). This takes it to a completely different level so yes, she was let down IMO

I've heard both but I think it's the actual bio grandmother. Keimani's mom's mom. I can't confirm that though so IMO. Like I said before that FB is something else.

The girl’s father told 13 Action News last week he saw Keimani late at night on March 16, after she called to say she was afraid to be home alone.

“I came over here because she said that it seemed like somebody was trying to break into the house. Me and my cousin sat over here for an hour and we left around 12:30-ish,” Jones said.

The grandmother spoke with 13 Action News last week after Keimani was first reported missing. Dorothy Latigue said she lives alone with Keimani. When she came home on March 17, Dorothy said she noticed the house was in disarray. She added that the stove was on and she could smell gas, and that the Keimani’s keys and glasses were at the house -- but Keimani can’t see without them.

“Other than her and I, it’s just two dogs in the house. So, who cut it on? So that was kind of suspicious. Her glasses in her underclothes were by the couch in the front. Her pajamas were on the dining room floor,” Dorothy Latigue said.

13 Action News asked Toledo Police detectives if they think there are others involved in the Keimani’s disappearance.

“Until we’re done doing the whole investigation I can’t tell you how many people are involved,” Lt. Dan Gerken said.

I'm sitting on my hands regarding the GM. I had read there was a 2nd body in the house and it was the father, I'm not seeing ANYTHING to confirm that and now he's being charged with murder. I usually like family run FB but there are too many people in the pot on this one and I actually need MSM to keep my head straight.
