Kristin Bailey, 26, took her son Kesean Bailey during a supervised visit May 23 at Buckeye Ranch at 4653 E. Main Street, Whitehall police said. Buckeye Ranch provides mental health and foster services for children.

Kristin Bailey was last seen in the area and Homestead Drive and East Maynard Avenue in a silver SUV, police said. She suffers from a mental-health condition and has made threats against her son's legal guardian, police said

According to NBC affiliate WCMH, Kesean had been reported missing less than a year ago, when he was 4 months old. He was found the same evening by Columbus police with Kristin. Charges were not filed in that incident.

With her arrest history prior to 2024 I really can't believe they didn't file charges against her in the last incident. She hasn't threatened her child just the legal guardian which is hopeful, but I do hope he is back to safety soon.

She has open criminal charges on the books and a scheduled revocation hearing coming up on June 30.

They got the year wrong but hey, been there done that. Glad everyone is safe.

I'm glad it is resolved but still baffled about the circumstances. What is the purpose of a supervised visit if you are able to kidnap the child from one? Is there any explanation of how this occurred?
