Kori Glossett, 25, has been missing since his birthday on June 16, when his father last heard from him. Glossett’s father, Jeffrey Glossett reported him missing on July 21, Van Wert Police Department officials reported.
Glossett talked about wanting to go to Knoxville, Tennessee, and Van Wert officials have contacted police officials in that town just in case, investigators said.
Glossett is described as 5 foot 5, weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Searching his name on FB it seems like he's had an unhappy/messy past, and there's drama on the Bring Kori Home page too. Just hoping that he's taken off for a new start.
Riggenbach announced the searches at multiple properties, 304 S. Adams St. in Middle Point, 7266 Middle Point Wetzel Road, a field at the intersection of Slane and Galvin Roads, and a field and partial woods at the intersection of Church and Middle Point Wetzel Roads, all were wrapping up on Friday.
Sheriff Riggenbach also said the search warrants that were executed are related to the missing person investigation being conducted by the Van Wert City Police Department, involving Kori Glossett.
Kori is still missing, I’ve known him since he was a little kid, he also lived with me for awhile in 2015. His mom died January 2017, she was the one who was spearheading the search. I wish I could remember what his tattoos looked like, and paid more attention to who he was hanging out with and what was going on in his life.

In August 2021, Gear was charged with tampering with evidence in connection with Glossett's disappearance. The prosecution alleged that on June 24, 2016, Gear did "alter, destroy, conceal or remove" unspecified evidence. He had also allegedly made statements to investigators which were "not truthful".
Police had searched Gear's property and found numerous samples of suspected blood throughout the home, in the garage, and in Gear's Ford F-250 pickup truck. Three of the samples collected turned out to be Glossett's blood. Investigators said the amount of blood was not consistent with a minor injury, and that that they suspected foul play in Glossett's disappearance.
Gear has not been charged with causing Glossett's actual disappearance, only with tampering with evidence after. He is awaiting trial.
