12-year-old girl from Fowler reported missing

The family of a 12-year-old girl hopes she returns to her Fowler Township home sometime this morning after running away on Wednesday.

Family members say she left a note saying she would rather “live with wolves than her family.”

They say she has run away before, but came back home.

According to reports, the girl is mentally disabled and acts as if she is five-years-old.

She is described as having blond hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing white snow boots, black jeans, and a black hoodie with flowers on the front.

Authorities confirm that a 12-year-old Fowler Township girl, missing since Wednesday, has been found and is unharmed.

Those who searched for Lena McCallun Wednesday night and Thursday morning confirmed at around 10:45 a.m. that the child had been located.
