In my most humble opinion, it's about time we started asking the real questions...

Why is violence looked at as a normal response to an argument? Why is the "**** life" revered? Where are the parents who teach their children, violence is never the answer? Why are there dozens of people standing around with cell phones, just waiting to upload another "girl fight"?

Something is wrong with this society, and very wrong, in certain areas of it. You can take away all the guns, but they'll just switch to acid attacks or knives or cars like in the UK and Europe.

"Per capita the UK has one of the highest rates of recorded acid attacks in the world." -ASTI.org
London's knife murders surpasses NYC in early 2018. - source BBC

Just like mental health needs to be addressed, so does the acceptance of violence as a normal everyday response.
BBM for one month of one year, London had two more murders than NY.

Found this video with new info.

"Since November, there have been seven [911] calls to the home on Legion Lane." Foster mom had called 911 multiple times complaining about a 10-yr-old removing ornaments from xmas tree & yelling. Also called to report her foster children running away. MB's 15 yr old sister Jania called a month ago asking to get out of that foster home. Police told her they couldn't help with that and she said if they didn't get her out of that house she was going to kill someone.

Something was NOT right in that foster home.

Some screenshots with quotes from the video.
A 10 year old was taking ornaments off a tree and she called it in?
There were 3 kids at the time of Ma'khia's death, allegedly.
Well done finding that!
I sincerely hope the police are investigating this fully too and not just the shooting!
I imagine they are, they must be.

Sounds like the kids were rather a handful for the foster parent which is fine, but leads me to question how on earth she is able to work/hold down a job while having these kids in her care. The older girls who had allegedly come back for the foster mums birthday must have been happy while in her care, no? (or why want to celebrate. Or is that a fabrication as well)

Yeah, calling 911 because a 10 yr old is removing xmas tree ornaments is excessive. And frankly pretty disturbing. Says she called a few hours later asking that the child be removed from the house and hospitalized! Either the child was doing things a lot worse than removing xmas tree ornaments, or this woman didn't know how to handle the child and was overwhelmed. Or both.

I find it really strange that her mom and aunt keep saying how MB was so kind and sweet etc but don't ever speculate on/ask about what could have triggered her to act so violently (or if they have, I haven't found the article yet). Wouldn't her behavior shock them if it was so unlike her? Wouldn't they be demanding answers re: what could have caused her to lunge at those women with a knife?

I have two questions here. Firstly is it normal procedure for only one officer to be in a squad car and secondly where on earth did the dog come from that the girl in pink was holding. TIA

In my town, there is only one officer per squad car.

It is called freedom of speech. Like the people who swear that DC did not have his knee of GF's neck, but on his back.
And there would be a lot of politicians being sued if lying was able to be sued for IMO.
There's a difference between freedom of speech and knowingly defaming someone

Yeah....This is not a "messy room" issue here...
This is all pretty hinky indeed.
Was violence and mayhem a common occurrence there?
Was there another adult present in the home at the time of this incident?
So many questions!

Just depends on the department and in some areas what the officer is being assigned to do. Some departments will have traffic units with one officer and crime units with two officers

They most likely are asking those questions.
Her mother did describe her as a peacemaker.
It's possible they have been asked to refrain from discussing their concerns publicly pending an investigation.
Her sister was in a very agitated state the night she asked to be removed from that home.
What brought that about?
Then Ma'khia moved in. To provide support for her sister or for some other reason?
Were the older ladies visiting at the time her sister became agitated too?
video is geoblocked here .
I really don't believe this was a dustup about unmade beds. And even if the beds were unmade, what business had the older ladies entering their bedroom?

Edit, Looked at the screenshots again and realised her sister's call for help to be taken out of that house occurred on March28. Less than a month ago. Both sisters were living there at that stage.

I wonder why they were in foster care in the first place.None of the family mentioned it in the the interviews that I have seen.

We each had posted at the same time about the same thing, the absence of Mr Kicker's story. It's just an old silly game I used to play...back in the day.... No offense at all

“Jinx! Buy me a Coke!”

Yep! And, if you had an older brother like me...you might also get a punch in the arm too! Just because... LOL

I think that is a very good question. We can waste time talking about weapons, but the real question is why are so many just immediately jumping to violence to resolve even the smallest of disputes?
As long as we have music, films, video games and tv shows that promote, encourage and glorify violence, we will continue to see our kids act out in violent ways, in my opinion.

The foster home....knowing the "mom" had a day job and was not home during the fight and shooting, was there another supervisor for those kids? Was the 43 year old man who kicked one of the targeted girls from the home? Is he a supervisor or daytime guardian in the house?

Who was the "grandma" referred to in the 911 call? (laying hands on the grandma..iirc)

Do, did, the kids in that house have online school?
I'm just a bit perplexed by why there wasn't an adult in the home while the foster mom worked, given the apparent history of the events in that house.

No, it was the girl who was shoved to the ground and got her head kicked by the man.
I am relieved to see that she was able to sit up and speak after receiving that brutal kick to the head.

Here's a link to the original 911 call. Who ever the caller is appears to not be actively fighting with anyone. You can hear an argument between other people going on in the background. Who is the caller?

If it was Ma'Khia was she initially a bystander and not involved in a fight? Why call for police and as soon as an officer arrives ignore him and his commands and attack two people with a knife? Seems like the caller is probably someone else. JMO

Ma'Khia Bryant shooting: 911 call reporting stabbing attempt - From the Newsroom: The Columbus Dispatch - Omny.fm
according to this article, the girl in pink made a call for help:

She received a frantic phone call from one of the former foster children who is seen in the fateful police bodycam video wearing pink as Ma'Khia lunged at her with a knife before being gunned down by Reardon.

Moore said the young girl in pink told her: '"Mom, get home. Where are you? They're going crazy." She said they shot Ma'Kiah and I said, "Huh?" It was just crazy.'

Foster mom says Ma'Khia Bryant brawled with two girls before shooting

Sounds a little like she is being scapegoated here, reference to fights having escalated since 'the teenager moved in'
But these women were adults, not teenagers..
Who else was in that house?
How many foster children?
Maybe it was the truth.

The 2 20 yr olds were former foster children in that home. They were reportedly visiting that day for the foster mother's birthday. I think that is why they suggested the house be cleaned before she arrived home.

In watching that video, the victim seemed to be the aggressor. The girl in pink was standing there with a little puppy in her arms, when she was suddenly under knife attack by a raging 15 yr old, who was aware the cop was a already there.

Her anger was totally out of control. IMO MOO
