I don't understand why no one has been named a suspect or arrested. She was sexually assaulted. Was there no semen inside her from her attacker? Fire was started internally. Pickup in road blocking fire truck and no one told fire fighters she was still in the house for 15 to 20 minutes after they arrived. In my opinion, someone wanted to make sure she died in the fire so she couldn't talk.

''JEFFERSONVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) – After recently investigating a homicide in Marysville, a true crime podcaster from Florida has returned to central Ohio to dig into the 2006 killing of an 8-year-old girl.

Melissa Sandberg did not expect to come back to Ohio for the second season of her podcast “Dog with a Bone,” but when she received a tip about the homicide of Mackenzie Branham and read up on the case, she felt compelled to investigate.''

AND the fire started from the inside of the house.....
Was the DNA found on/inside of her body ever tested against the mother’s boyfriend ?

''WASHINGTON COURTHOUSE, Ohio (WSYX) — Fayette County residents rallied for a new investigation into a decades-old, unsolved homicide involving an 8-year-old girl, holding signs and honking horns outside the county's courthouse Saturday.

Back on April 27th, 2006, Mackenzie Branham was sleeping in her second-floor bedroom when her house caught fire. Mackenzie died, and the fire was later ruled arson by the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office.

Her mom and boyfriend got out alive.

Her father, Donald Branham, joined by nearly 100 supporters, gathered at the county courthouse demanding justice for Mackenzie.
"It's an uprising for me," he said. "It gives me that strength to keep going, to keep fighting."

'We can move this forward with today's technology. The poor father, the children, she needs justice. Mackenzie needs justice.'

Does anyone know what the position of the victims was found in, on her bed?
What was the evidence that the fire was arson?
