Found Deceased OH - Malcolm Myers 31, left in car, usually chks in every few hrs, Youngstown, 10 Apr 2022 *Reward*

His car was found, this doesn't sound good.

Black said Malcolm left in his car on April 10 and hasn’t been back since. She said it’s very unlike him not to answer any of their calls and said his car was found on Cleveland Street in Youngstown about a week ago.

“We know foul play was involved, his car was found abandoned at an abandoned house with his license plates ripped off and thrown in the bushes,” Black said.

How recent was his arrest? Is it possible that his "friends" think he snitched? If he knew some damning evidence against whoever?

Looks like his arrest as part of a large sting of a drug trafficking operation (heroin and cocaine) was in 2015. If you scroll through the photos in the article of those arrested it is definitely him, and the age as well is correct if he was arrested at age 24 in2015. Arrests target Lincoln Knolls drug activity How long of a sentence he got can be calculated if you go to the "view image" link on the right hand side of the court information records for sentencing that I found on the county court records using his name in the search engine (which matches his full name, age and address on the court records). https://ecourts.mahoningcountyoh.gov/eservices/searchresults.page Based on my calculations he would have been recently released from prison. He was also under 3 years of monitored court control which likely explains why his Mom was keeping close tabs on him.

Ohio (WKBN) — Police have identified a body found in a trash can Saturday as a man who has been missing since April.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office was able to identify the man as Malcolm Myers, 31, who had been missing since April 10.

Myers’ death is being investigated as a homicide, a police spokesman said.
While it is good that his family now has one answer, they, and society, needs many more.
Mr. Meyers went missing over 3 months ago.
His body was found a just week ago.
Initially, they were able to determine the deceased was a male.
The county coroner subsequently IDed the man as missing Malcolm Meyers.
I wonder how often that trash can is emptied, and how long they determined Mr. Meyers had been dead, if that answer is possible.
3+ months is a long time from the day he disappeared.
