Found Safe OH - Ma'Ri'Ana Spaulding, 25, home front door unlocked, water coming from underneath it, missed son's bday, Barberton, 17 Dec 2022

The last sighting of Barberton resident Ma'Ri'Ana Spaulding came Dec. 17, when her vehicle was snapped by a traffic camera.

Since then, her family has heard nothing from her. Her social media posts stopped abruptly and her car, a 2007 champagne gold Chevrolet Impala, hasn't been spotted. Calls to her go to voicemail and aren't returned.

Spaulding's mother, Lavina Black, said she became increasingly worried when her daughter didn't call during the holidays.

"She missed Christmas, her birthday, her son's birthday, New Year's and then my birthday," said Black.

This is very concerning. Home door unlocked, water coming, house is in disarray according to mom. No contact for Christmas, her bday, her son's bday, New Year's or her mom's bday. What could have happened? Where is Ma'Ri'Ana?

Spaulding's mother, Lavina Black, said the family is putting up a $5,000 reward for information leading to her daughter.

Family members believe Spaulding hasn't been to her home since December. On January 7, relatives walked through an unlocked door, noticed water damage and found the home to be in disarray.

"I think that she fell in the wrong hand to the wrong people," Black said, "I know something is not right. I know it. I feel it in my soul. I feel it in my gut. I know something is terribly wrong."

Spaulding's father, Ahmad Spaulding, said he last spoke to his daughter via FaceTime on De 17 when she asked for some extra money to help with Christmas shopping.

The 25-year-old missing mother from Barberton was located in Jackson, Tenn. on Sunday by the Jackson Police Department, according to a news release from the Barberton Police Department.

BARBERTON, Ohio — The 25-year-old missing mother from Barberton was located in Jackson, Tenn. on Sunday by the Jackson Police Department, according to a news release from the Barberton Police Department.

Ma'Ri'Ana Spaulding was found by police "alive and living out of her car" in Jackson, the release said.

Officers checked on her to see if she needed any assistance. Her family was notified by the department that she had been found, the release said.
