"The Stark County Sheriff is asking police agencies and residents to be on the lookout for 89-year-old Marilyn Evanoff of Canton who was last heard from Sunday night, believed to be in a car somewhere in the Carolinas.

Evanoff, who authorities say suffers from dementia, is 5'3" tall, weighs 130 lbs, and has gray hair and brown eyes.

The vehicle involved is a red 2006 Mazda MZ3 with OH plate number BA23EU. The vehicle pictured is similar to, but not the actual vehicle involved.

Authorities ask anyone who knows the whereabouts of Evanoff to call or dial 911.

According to an alert, Evanoff was found safe Monday afternoon. Officials have not said where or in what circumstances she was located.
