This article is about the door to door sales industry and mentions a few company names. They also reference a missing girl who turned out to be hiding. I'm wondering if that's a common thing?

Most of these articles point out that the young men and women on these crews don't come from stable home situations. I found this article on Jennifer Hammond:

She was killed while selling magazines, the crew did report her missing when she didn't check in.

It seems like looking into if any of these crews were active in central Ohio in 2002-3 would be a good starting point.

Are there any other images of Jane Doe besides the 3-D head images?

I hope they didn't rely on Grate's description for the new sketch of the Marion woman. I'm not sure I'd believe a sociopath.

I did this reconstruction quite a while ago, but I just realized I didn't post it here. I only posted it on my Facebook.

This is based on the second NCMEC CT-Scan recon, so at least there is a basis for the facial structure. The new recon sketch shows a roughly similar hairstyle, but I doubt that it is as true to her facial structure as the CT Scan recon is.

Looking at the newly released drawing, I am a little more confident in my own recon than I was prior.

Trying to sort out a bit of a timeline - Body discovered 3/10/2007 and from the Shawn Grate thread - there was this discussion and also a mention that it could have happened as early as 2005.

Between 2003-2005: Grate lures a magazine saleswoman into his car, takes her to his house in Marion, Ohio and stabs her to death in his basement. He dumps her body on Victory Rd in Marion. A year later he becomes worried about DNA and returns to burn the body. He confessed to this murder after his arrest in Sept 2016 but could not remember the year it happened.

I don't see why he would tell so much other information, but lie about the name part. I think she truly is a Dana/Dawn/Diana/Deanna.

Trying to see if I can find out anymore about Dawn Young. Several other missing "D" women were last seen by an ex and had children that they were unlikely to voluntarily leave behind. This woman was 5'10" - but aged 26 which is the age the murderer remembered her to be.

I made my submission (my first time too, so hopefully some with more experience will chime in) via "the doe network". They have the Marion UID in their database and then you fill out the form and they will tell submit it to their panel. There may be a way to submit to NAMUS or directly to Marion PD, but I didn't do that. There are 47 exclusions listed on NAMUS but D White in not in the exclusion list:

Thank you, I may have figured it out, but I had to submit her info first to the doe network,because she isn't listed there, before I can submit possible match info.
