I've thought it was so odd that the daughter would be OK having her mom's funeral on what was supposed to be her wedding day.

I could also see a situation where the sil did the murder and went out with the fil as an alibi. I believe there is probably more than one person involved, I'm just not so sure the other one will end up being the husband. Just a hunch moo

In addition I'm not sure a second accomplice would call 911 as well. I think that would have been planned a head. I think the husband called bc he knew his wife was already gone and he was pissed at Le for what he was led to believe had happened. Moo

How young is Scullins daughter? And why was she left with the MP's son who has Down Syndrome?

MP wasn't supposed to be at the house, if I remember right; she was supposed to meet the husband and Scullins. So who was supposed to be watching the kids?

In really hope daughter isn't involved.

Two 911 calls... did *either* of them ask for *any* help for Melinda? No send an ambulance... hurry ?

They're both like, yeah, someone's been attacked, but take your time, no rush. No, no CPR, but, hey, we had some kids jumping on our trampoline a while back...

ETA. They could have at least *tried* to come across like they gave a damn.

I'm not very shocked but very saddened for Melinda.

We all suspected this was an insider job, I never had strong suspicions against the husband though. I suspected any of the remaining family members.

Could very well be two killers because of two manners of killing (gun and knife).

An argument between Melinda, JC and daughter that got out of hand? Or was it premeditated? I guess we will find out in the coming days.

Wow! Blindsided by that one! We were so busy looking at the husband’s 911 call, we pretty much never considered the future SIL who sounded the way someone should sound. That convinces me once again that analyzing 911 calls can be tricky. Of course, the husband’s role remains to be seen. And I still want to know where the baby’s mother and accused killer’s fiancée was supposed to be.

Poor Melinda! Killed in her own kitchen just like Teresa Sievers.
