Investigators said the skeletal remains were found Sunday afternoon along the shore of the Great Miami River at Shawnee Lookout.

Great Park Rangers and the Hamilton Count Coroner are working on the investigation.

Dispatchers said there is no information about the gender, name or cause of death for the person at this time.

The skeletal remains found along the shore of the Great Miami River last month have been identified as a man who went missing last year.

Van Guthrie, of Sharonville, was last seen falling into the Great Miami River in April.
