This article has a picture of when Billy, Angela, George and Jake were younger. I had never seen this pic before.

Great photo! Thanks (from link)

Angela does not seem to like her lawyers and they probably do not like her. Her handwritten request for change of counsel.
I’m trying to catch up , but I can’t find anything regarding a response from the judge .

There has not been any response yet from judge on granting Angela two new attorneys.

There also has not been any ruling from the judge on Billy's request for a change of venue. The judge said he would be fairly quick on that ruling at the hearing on Oct 4, so I am kind of wondering what is going on.

Don't think a deal could be in the works because the only ones I can think of are Life without parole or Life without parole.

She still isn't used to getting an immediate answer or things her way, poor dear. I have a question. Please understand that I am not sure how these things work. When a change of venue is granted does that also mean a new judge or is it just the place?

Wow, great posts.

Appreciate you posting court documents, recently, Angela's new letter to the judge.

It sounds like Angela's attorneys did not contact her to "work things out" in which case her Motion to dismiss them as her legal counsel could simply be dropped like Billy's Pro se Motion was dropped.

I assume they ignored her. I just have a feeling that if they had come to her "humble with hat in hand" that she would have kept them. Angela wants to feel she has control and if her attorneys were to "give in" to her she would feel vindicated, that she was right they were wrong. One-up them so to speak.

So my guess is they decided not to play this murderer's game and blew her off.

She must absolutely disgust them.

I am just speculating.

I think you are right. I feel her lawyers probably will welcome not acting as her attorney's any longer and hope she gets new ones. They probably wished the whole time they could quit. They did seem to negotiate her a good deal though, considering. I feel the prosecution might have thought jurors would not believe Jake alone, so they agreed to a deal to get her testimony also. She does not deserve to be out ever.

I think if there is a venue change that the same judge usually stays on the case. I believe there have been cases when the venue changed, the judge also changed. I am not sure how that determination is made.
