So Hein is still trying to force Prosecutor Canepa to accept a plea agreement for Billy, likely one that is far too liberal for the heinous crimes committed by the monster.

If Hein prevails, perhaps they can send Billy to a halfway house in Hein's or Kennedy's neighborhood. JMO

If Billy gets a sweetheart deal from Hein, maybe he'll be cursed with the same luck as Ken McElroy or Gene Leroy Hart.

I'd rather wake up next to my meanest, ugliest goat. BW just looks like he's seething with barely contained rage all the time. I wonder if he's had a psych evaluation since the arrest. Can you imagine having to be one on one in a room with that behemoth so he can talk about he feelings? ((shudders))

"As of the judges rulings now", Billy's DP (still waiting on appeals court ruling) has been removed and there will be a new venue (still playing out in appeals court).

Angela and Jake will be sentenced before Billy's trial which means they would not have to testify and it seems to me the state would not be able to use Jakes proffer at Billy's trial. I am not sure they have a lot of evidence on Billy without Jake testifying.

Jake may choose to testify but that is a wild card. He may feel that he needs to testify against Billy since he did against George or he may feel he doesn't and it's the States Burden of proof to get a conviction without him.

The defense team can just sit back and let the judge do their job. The defense probably can't even believe how these things are going in their favor.

Why is he doing this? It’s absolutely unnecessary and completely undermines the case against all of these admitted muderers.

I’ve never seen anything like this. Such a strong appearance of corruption, in broad daylight in one of the most infamous murder cases in years. It’s so like Ohio, though.
