I AM NOT sure if this may be Jake but I am trying hard to find out. I may not be able to.

It was confirmed on the phone to me that this is Edward Jacob Wagner with same birthdate as his. He was transferred there March 31st. He is at the Dodge Correction Institution now for processing before he will be sent to another prison most likely. Dodge is also a prison.
Wisconsin Dept of Corrections 608 240 5104 if anyone needs/wants to confirm.

@pattinewberry

Seeing now that #JakeWagner, convicted in the #PikeCountymassacre case, has been moved to Wisconsin. That's per the VineLink site that verifies inmate locations. The site does not disclose which prison. @DRCOhio yesterday confirmed he'd been moved out of state.

Is someone trying to make sure Jake will be out of state to discourage asking if he will testify against Billy? Why is Ohio paying to house prisoners in other states, especially when the public school system funding is almost in crisis mode? The state is refusing to fund public schools, but they're ok with sending prisoners out of state and paying $600 million for a sports stadium for a billionaire team owner.

Wow, your right. Seems if Jake was to testify in Billy's trial that the State of Ohio would really need to keep him as close to the trial courthouse as possible. He would need to be debriefed and such.

Maybe the "security" risks take priority over the other stuff?

Well, Jake's Ohio jail had no problem housing him and keeping him safe. Maybe Jake will be brought back to Ohio to testify but be locked up in an Ohio jail instead of an Ohio prison.

Notice that Jake being in an out-of-State prison has the consequence of stopping his in-person visits. The people who planned to visit him "face to face" now cannot do so unless they travel far out of State which is too impractical in my opinion. Way too time consuming and way too expensive and a logistics nightmare of getting around without a car if a visitor flew in.

Do you know when Billy's trial is scheduled? If it even is. I assume if Jake is moved back to Ohio before Billy's trial it would mean Jake is testifying against Billy.

Why can the Ohio Department of Corrections keep Angela safe but cannot do so for 2 males - George and Jake?

Maybe Jake told the prosecution he refuses to testify and since they cannot force him, the prison system was free to send him out of State.

Maybe Angie decided to testify at Billy's trial, thus, she gets to stay in Ohio despite serious security threats. I doubt only Jake and George face security threats.

I don’t think there are any dates on Billy’s schedule beyond April. The appeals process is slowing down some things. It’s a disgrace how this judge has completely derailed this trial.

Besides the 4/25/25 hearing there is also one scheduled on 5/30/25.

There is an appeal on Billy's DP and I think the trial has to be on hold until that is sorted out.

Angela hasn't been moved yet but I guess there is a chance she still could be.

Canepa has an appeal on Jakes sentence, if she wins that I wonder if he will testify for the State. I don't understand the appeal completely but this is what I think she is asking. She is trying to have the death specifications that Hein gave a mandatory of 12 years changed to mandatory 32 years which would put Jake's chance of parole at 52 years intsead of 32 years. There may be other things in that appeal she is asking for, I am not positive.

There is an appeal on Angelas sentence also, I am not sure of any details of that. Jake' attorneys are asking for the appeal on his sentence to be denied but Angela's attorneys have not asked for that as of yet. I assume Canepa must not be asking for much of a chance on Angela's.

**must not be not asking for much of a change not (chance) on Angela's sentence.

IIRC, Angela Canepa originally agreed to Angela's sentence as that was negotiated before George IV's trial, when Judge Deering was still in charge of the murder cases.

The problem is that Jake and Angela's agreements were contingent on their testifying against the other two.

I’d like to see Billy convicted. The others have been sentenced already. He helped strategize and plan the murders. He also killed Kenneth and Chris Sr., his friends.
I agree 110%. If the opinion of a lurker matters.

Yes and Hein's need to clear the books is not working, is it?

It's absurd the victim's family is still dealing with this portion of the murders. Give them some them some peace knowing this wicked family is lock away for a very long time. What are we doing, Ohio!!!!

We are quickly approaching the nine year mark since eight people were executed in Pike County, OH.

Justice for 40-year-old Christopher Rhoden Sr., 37-year-old Dana Rhoden, 20-year-old Hannah Gilley, 16-year-old Christopher Rhoden Jr., 20-year-old Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden, 37-year-old Gary Rhoden, 19-year-old Hanna Rhoden, and 44-year-old Kenneth Rhoden.

❤️

May justice be served

It's vague. What are the oral arguments about? Is this about the appeal of is it about the victims

I'm not seeing anything on Pike County Court View

The only entry at Ross County, OH Clerk of Courts for George Wagner is an old criminal case from 2011 for receiving stolen property.
