No, they discussed this in the last pre-trial hearing. The Pike County Court Recorder testified about the GJ proceedings. No big deal.

Betty, the person listed here is the Common Pleas court recorder. She was not the GJ recorder, nor does she work for the Sheriff's office. Just saying. MOO

Thanks for the info. I'll go back and listen to the last hearing. Either way, I still think it's a red herring. RN's attorneys are getting pretty desperate trying to throw in the name of a random court reporter. At this point, its doubtful the person she named was even involved in anything. Recall, she insisted she saw a mysterious man in a "blue uniform" in the GJ room. No one else saw him.

ETA:

We'll hear plenty of it as these trials continue. Maybe they'll even mention Bigfoot or D.B. Cooper.

RN stands accused not only of forgery, obstuction of justice, etc. she's also accused of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity along with 5 other people who helped plan and execute the cold blooded murders of 8 innocent people. Innocent people killed in their sleep with infants lying in bed next to them.

RN has plenty of reason to make up a lot of stories to save her hide. She and her attorneys can bring them all to court, along with the evidence when she goes on trial.

It's a sad story, but isn't related to the Rhoden Murders.

I posted it in reference to comments you had made about the missing and dead girls in Chillicothe. I've seen several posts that aren't directly related to the Rhoden murders. I will however ask for my post to be removed since I can't delete it.

No, it's ok. I had to read it again a second time before I understood what you were referring to. Those were terrible crimes. I hope they solve all of them some day. I know they feel they've solved some and a couple of the perps were sent to jail for a while, but were never actually tried for those murders.

The missing women of Chillicothe, the mother, daughter killing (Newson right or wrong) Miss Heyslip, also the man and woman that where killed in their sleep and a few years later the brother locate a gun down in a well? That one should like someone we know, JMO

All we need is for AC to show all the evidence against the Wagners to a jury in a court of law— Whatever venue that it may be... I have studied AW’s discovery, and BCI has the evidence. AND, If they have RN and AW saying what the prosecution alleges, on 13 recorded jail phone conversations, that will be extremely detrimental to everyone’s cases. I feel strongly that they will yield convictions.

We do not need to focus on any other murders in the area, missing persons, or even the sheriff with personal problems. The W’s will go down for what they did IMO

I can’t stand the fact that the Rhoden, Manley, and Gilley families cannot just put this to rest. I cannot wait to see these people put in prison for their crimes.

Agree, the discovery shows a massive amount of evidence against the Wagners, the recorded phone calls by AW and RN only add to that and confirm their history of plotting and scheming to avoid accountability. This will not end well for them, as most of them don't appear to be contrite or remorseful for the horrible acts they've committed.

Anything the defense can bring up, no matter how ridiculous, will get the judge and jury occupied with things other than damaging facts. If the jury is wondering what this or that has to do with the case, they might not be paying attention to pertinent facts. The invisible man was a good example of this. They even had the judge confused as to why all this was brought up.

Yes, that was one of the most bizarre allegations I've ever seen in a trial. It seemed apparent, JMO, that the mystery man was a fabrication. They "mystery plastic tub" allegedly full of documents that AW wants RN to bring up in court. I guess AW wants the judge to allow her attorney to spend a month in court arguing about every piece of paper in that plastic tub - from copies of utility bills and their car insurance policy to a page by page review of the owner's manual and factory warranty for the chest freezer they bought in 2002. Don't forget those old coupons for mouthwash and cat food.

Everyone is entitled to a fair trial and all the defendants are innocent until proven guilty, but RN's hearing the other day gave us a glimpse into what these trials could become - a legal carnival sideshow with belligerent defendants.

I'm waiting to hear that "mystery plastic tub" full of papers has proof that the W4 are innocent but it is missing. My opinion only.

The one I was talking about, that's listed on Discovery at the bottom of the article is listed as a State's witness. I think you misunderstood. JMO

All I saw was a name.

Personally, I'm going to wait for RN's last hearing and trial to see what's up instead of trying to make blind guesses. I trust AC to handle this for now, but she may need extra help later.

Mostly, we're just muddying the waters here with too much speculation, to a level that is becoming excessively confusing. JMO, that only helps the killers/defendants and that's not good.

Totally agree. And all the time, AC was objecting. Unbelievable. Judge Deering had better start owning his courtroom. JMO

Betty, I apologize for anything I have done wrong, but with all due respect, I do not consider a Discovery Document on RN posted on Scribd to be "blind guesses" or "muddying the waters with too much speculation," but I am only a poster and have no authority here. As one last try, here is the document I was referring to. All JMO based on Discovery. Please see State's witness and Title. Thank you.
