No prob, all i can say is
The poster was referring to the possibility of JW's wife being the mole in the family. You know from Canepa-- "confidential reliable source. " But it's against TOS to discuss her, at least for now unless she's called as a witness at trial. So better left alone right now.

IMO, it wasnt her. She was scared and ran for her life...she made that known. Confidential Information Resources are experts at being very unknown and unsuspected. JMO

I would love to know more about the Kentucky Derby winning horse.

That would be a major selling point yet I have seen nothing about it on her website (totally out of character for FW).

Is the article wrong OR is there a reason that FWF can't boast about that horse on the FWF website?

I doubt it was a product of their horse breeding. Their horses, as I understand, are crossbred to make larger riding horses. I am not a horse expert...

CC, were you referring to car derbys or horse?

They didn't breed thoroughbreds. But they have bet on them. JMO

Very interesting new angle on this mystery. Do you think they made money by illegally betting on horses or fixed races?

From catching up on this case, I think the Kentucky derby reference is wrong. I don't think they ever had thoroughbreds. One of their miniatures, Moonlight Bay, was slightly world famous.

Thanks I missed this...
"...Three years later, in 2012, Billy and Angela were convicted of receiving stolen property in Ross County.

According to court records there, evidence seized in the case included “various items belonging to Kohl’s, Ollie’s, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Super K-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Sears, and Lowe’s.” The pair were each sentenced to one-year community control and ordered to pay restitution to Sam’s Club and Walmart.... "

Missed this, thanks again Merrygirl --- Don't remember this!

Important info in my book! In my opinion!

PS. This is why I love Webseuths. Information that's important many can find on here. Means alot to me . With the Rhodens especially-- because some of my younger in-laws knew some of the victims through the derbies. WV vs. Southern OH..Yah....Go...Team...GO....!!!!

In reply to the bolded part of your post, I took you to mean car derbies with the Rhodens. Correct? The Rhodens never raced horses.

Somehow this has now been misunconstrued to think you were talking about horses.

CC, can you please clarify what you meant? TY

I read the same thing in one of the linked articles. Something about a horse taking them to the Kentucky Derby. I remember now it was a guardian interview. Edited by me.

I believe that they were involved in Arabian Horses prior to the miniature horse business or any current horse business that they might have currently. iirc. jmo.

There's no Thoroughbreds nor Arabians here in this explanation...

Flying W Farms Inc on EquineNow

Founded in 1975 by George "Bob" Wagner and his wife Fredericka, they breed and raise Friesian Georgian Grande horses.

She might be a shareholder in a racing Thoroughbred ownership "syndicate", however; as sometimes a large group of people will band together and purchase a small percentage of ownership interest apiece. However, I wasn't able to find any record of that; so I think the Guardian has just gone doolally (Cincinnati's FOX affiliate sloppily quotes them, which is worse - don't you think they'd want to check, see if there might be an interview angle with some wealthy Thoroughbred people?).

Is there any possible way to access horse registries online?

I am specifically asking about 'old' data.

For example: Any horse breeders or trainers etc that may have been expelled from 'any' specific horse registry in between 1970 - 2000.

I saw a beautiful Fresian stallion named Frederick advertised for sale last year about the time of the arrests on the wcpo site. I wonder if it was theirs.

Yes the car derbys not the horse racing derbys, yes it gets confusing. No horses just 4 wheelers (mudding) and derby cars. It's a culture unto it's self.

This is from the Derek M article, which doesn’t make sense because the types of horses she breeds don’t race in the derby.

Fredericka Wager is worth millions of dollars, according to public records. She reportedly owns the most land in Pike County, according to locals, and property records with the county show that the land she does own is valued at $4 million. That should not be a full calculation of Wagner’s net worth, however. She owns numerous businesses, including the breeding of rare horses and exotic animals, some of which have been big winners in the Kentucky Derby.

Yes, we like to bring this up when people insist the Wagners are such a religious, law abiding family compared to the Rhodens. One family worked hard, long hours, went to church and didn't get arrested for stealing, etc. The parents in the Wagner family were like the Bonnie & Clyde of Pike County.

Dayton Daily News has done some very good in depth coverge on the Rhoden Family Massacre. Their articles are always good to keep bookmarked, very detailed and well researched.

Report: ‘They really don’t bother me,’ Fredericka Wagner says of BCI agents in new interview

PIKE COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - The Wagner family matriarch gave an interview to a local news paper about the new search warrant executed on her property at Flying W Farms in Pike County.

According to the BCI, the search warrant involves the Rhoden family murder case.

Fredericka Wagner, 77, was accused of perjury and obstruction of justice in the massacre, but her charges were dropped and she’s maintained her innocence.

“It was dismissed because I was innocent. They have no evidence against me. I was innocent,” Wagner said outside of court in June.

Prosecutors accused Wagner of covering up the murders by lying about bulletproof vests she bought online, but her attorneys said a receipt she provided shows she purchased them after the murders, not the night of.

She told the Guardian’s Derek Myers she barely notices a team of agents on her 2,000 acre property.

“They’re just outside, looking around, but they don’t really bother me,” Wagner told Myers. It was noted the agents had metal detectors and dive teams.

She told the Guardian BCI did not tell her what they were searching for when they knocked on her door Monday and told her they would be conducting a five-day search on the farm

“They’re not under my feet. I hardly see them,” Wagner told the Guardian.

The newspaper says Wagner is worth millions of dollars, according to public records.

They say she owns the most land in Pike County, saying they were told that information by locals, and say property records with the county show the land she owns is valued at $4 million.

The Guardian also says Wagner owns businesses including the breeding of rare horses and exotic animals, some of which have won the Kentucky Derby.

Myers said in the article photos posted on social media showed agents searching a small lake on the property.

“It’s not that very deep,” she told Myers. “They didn’t really say [what they were looking for].” He noted she laughed when he asked her about it.

He also says she told him she was a ‘woman of God’ and maintained the innocence of her children.

“It will all turn out in the end, I have a lot of faith in that,” she told the Guardian. “I’m innocent. They didn’t have any evidence against me, and also, my children are innocent.”

No mention in this article that the judge and prosecutors don't consider her innocent, that they can, and probably will, bring charges again at a future date. Her charges were dismissed without prejudice.
