Unable to watch today. Was JW admonished by the judge for being in contact with his mother? If not, why not? He participated in at least one joint call with AW and her brother. Pretty sure he's been told to not have any contact with his five co-defendants.

The feed I'm watching panned right to them. Fred dressed in her typical black attire with sunglasses. Robin dressed in her typical attire with her cowboy hat on her knees.

Hearing started. Judge said 41 motions filed for GW3.
Court has previously ruled on 3, already granted some. Civilian clothing, court stenographer, etc. 38 motions to argue today. Currently deadline of Oct 31 for discovery and filing of motions.

When the camera was on the defense attorney, I was watching Miss Geneva behind him and tears came to my eyes. With everything she’s been through, I was wondering what she was thinking and how she is coping. I love how the Rhoden family is rallying around her at the courthouse. JMO (I apologize if I’m off topic and not allowed to make these observations)

With everything she’s been through, I was wondering what she was thinking and how she is coping. I love how the Rhoden family is rallying around her at the courthouse. Your observations are kind and heartfelt. This whole case is about justice for the families. That's why we are here.
I've never seen a post get reported or deleted because kind compassionate words were posted about the Rhoden, Gilley, and Manley families.

Unbelievable. Was she hoping he would turn around and read it? Certainly she can't be THAT dumb.
I wonder if she has a habit of writing things on her pants when she's working with the horses and didn't have time to change clothes?? I'm a nurse and sometimes I write things on my hand if I'm in a pinch until I can put it in the patient's chart.

He may be able to read it as he enters the courtroom and walks towards the defense table. She's usually seated right behind that table. Sort of unusual that she's writing on her pants again after all the problems with AW and RN talking on the phone. Interesting timing.

I've written on many things also. I was a floor RN. But not a book down both legs. It might be for her own understanding. I don't assume she's doing nefarious deeds. I and many have wondered what is written out of curiosity I suppose. Apparently the media wonders also. All of this is just my opinion based on observation. I do know she only wears that shirt and pants to any hearing she has been to. That makes me feel sad for her, but maybe it doesn't bother her at all.

EXACTLY. I don't believe he thinks he's innocent. Can't imagine staying in jail for just the least crimes on the indictment for 2 years. This is my opinion.

Thanks for the summaries and link to video. Have been busy on other projects, so appreciate the updates. Not surprised JW trial is delayed longer. Also not surprised at all the last minute motions. His lawyers hadn't filed many motions previously, JMO. They all seem to be doing this, possibly as a delaying tactic, also possible they are jockeying for position to see who goes to trial first.

Will be interesting to see what develops.

Also noting that this new thread is on the 3rd page already. Sorry I missed adding the Case Summary and Timeline on the first page.

If anyone wants to see them, just go back to the first page of the previous thread. When time permits, I'll try to re-post them on the Media & Timelines thread, too. This week will also be a busy one for me, so will try to check in. So many projects on the burner!

I agree with both of you. God bless Geneva and Mr and Mrs Manley and the Gilley's and all the family. I'm here to see justice. She is slow sometimes. But like the shirts read today. .... won't stop fighting for Justice #RhodenStrong
