Al actually didn't go that far, he began to have trouble in school around his sixth grade year and never returned to school. He began to hang out with and was then taken in, and accepted, as a member of, one of the worst street gangs in NYC. He later moved up and moved on to Chicago. He was brought up in violence from early on, however, I agree, just b/c one has only a 7th grade education it doesn't mean they can't function in society nor plot/commit murders (we can just read the news). There seemed to be no real planning though for after the murders. When they came back to Ohio from their run away to AK, I think it was because they had no other clue as to what to do next, and were broke. I see G3 as more of the brawn, but don't discount him as having input into the planning. I honestly see none of the W4 as "masterminds" though.

Angela’s father was said to be a professional con-man I have nothing to back it up, on the other hand Bob managed to get all those acreage and build a successful business, so it would be hard to say but Leonard Manley talked about the BCI took evidence off a dead mans bed and Fredericka talked about her husband couldn’t go to the restroom without BCI watching him.

I started to do some digging on this several months ago. The site has quite a few layers to it and is not so user friendly. Tomorrow, I'll refresh my notes and see what I can find.

BW has only a 7th grade education and is somehow incapable of masterminding the murders of 8 individuals. On February, 14, 1929, 7 individuals (and a dog) were murdered in a garage in Chicago. That crime was masterminded by a man with incomplete 8th grade education.

My grandmother had an eighth grade education (early 1900's), yet was the wisest woman I've ever known. It certainly wasn't because she wasn't smart enough, but she lived in a rural area and a high school education wasn't available to females back then. For that matter, it was not even available to most men. They needed to go work on their family farm full time.

Maybe Fred and Bob's thoughts were - he is going to run the farm (empire), school doesn't matter.

One of my fondest memories was my grandmother telling me,

You are right, that tattoo was a message to the community of Piketon, those Wagners where bullies and tried to put fear into anyone that rented or bought from them, also they thought they where in titled to the world, like farther like son, JMO

Johnny that’s my feelings as well. No remorse shown what so ever! If I was innocent I would be screaming to the top of my lungs! Everybody for at least 5 states would hear me! Yet they come to court smiling and smirking as if to say “yeah we did it” the anger looks I can understand more than the smiles and smirks

All four trials may not even be in the same county. I doubt they will have the same judge for all four...

Cool Cat, has brought the most information to me from the whole time I’ve been fellow the Rhodens Massacre, that means a lot to me because I watched the news cast from the minute the story broke, thank you CC, JMO

I have been overwhelmed by so many things these past couple years with my only sibling (sister) passing.
At that same time a contractor ripped us off for $12,000 while I was dealing with my sister's estate! (We fought this in court and we won!..Did get our $ back.)

But also my spouse and I have seen things on our (State prison) jobs that , as Donald Stone said:

NO HUMAN SHOULD SEE!

Should we be reading anything into the fact that GW3 has no pretrial scheduled? Just seems a bit odd, an anomaly of sorts.


The Wagners' pretrial appearances, confirmed Tuesday by Attorney General Dave Yost's office, were rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic to the following dates:

• Jake Wagner: June 22, 10 a.m.
  
  
• Billy Wagner: June 22 at 1:30 p.m.
  
  
• Angela Wagner: June 24 at 1:30 p.m.
  

There are not any hearings currently scheduled for George Wagner, according to the Attorney General's office."
