I found it really disturbing that they shot Dana under the chin. This wasn't just break in and shoot. They tortured that woman.

I’m not sure why you think I’m saying something wrong but the killers tortured Dana Rhoden body and Hannah Gilley body by shooting them 5 times for no reason and I for one think it disgusting, what makes the killers think their in title to do this to these people, it can only be Love, Money or betrayal, JMO

The prosecution already stated that it had nothing to do with the actual murder investigation. Based on that, it needs to be discussed in the other thread created specifically for that topic.

He might have known. His face was turned toward the killer and that means it's possible he was looking in that direction, having been woken by barking and other noises. He was up on a bunk as you can see from photo and DS's description of "looking up." This means, to shoot him directly straight into his eye he would have had to be facing the killer. This is the only thing that makes sense to me as to how he was shot in the eye.

If he was on his back he would have been shot in the side of his head and face, if he was turned away he would be shot in the back of the head...2 Cents..

JMO, in addition to what you have listed, sometimes people kill for power.

I agree it's disturbing and it doesn't seem to make sense, but my guess is there is a reason. Hopefully we'll learn that at trial.

I agree with your explanation of how this had to have happened. It's the only thing that makes sense to me, too, to explain why he was shot in his eye. I think he heard something and raised up to look into the cabin and found himself face-to-face with his killer (s). It is absolutely hideous.

Not long ago someone mentioned that KR said Brownie, Kenny's dog, was kept inside at night. DS had to hold him back so LE could access the camper, he was barking like crazy. So there is just no way Brownie would not be barking when the killer starts coming in, no way. The killer must have been sure how to get in fairly quickly before Kenny would have the chance to get fully awake and grab his gun from under his pillow.

No doubt a Wagner went over there to figure out how to get in. Kenny's camper was by the road that goes to FWF, Camp Creek Rd., so it would have been easy for a Wagner to stop over there and make up excuses for doing so.

Also to add to that Frankie had about 5 or 6 coonhound dogs tied up out back of his mobile home, what ever plan the killers had to get by all those animals without alerting someone is beyond me?????
