We looked at the timeline many times in the past. AFAIK, there's no proof that Jake had S before the murders. He said (and later retracted the statement) that he picked up S earlier that evening. Aside from the Wagners, no living person knows exactly when S was picked up from Dana's home.
KR2 might know. Her and HR had to of talked that night. She was supposed to sleep over that night until her boyfriend's toothache and a baby sitting job changed her plans.

okay - I mis-read this.... on 8/19/20 - 4th paragraph down:

The Court further finds that on June 22, 2020, the State of Ohio filed an "Omnibus Identification of Discovery Provided" in this action, and that on the third page of such document, under the heading "Notice of Intention To Use Evidence," the State of Ohio indicated that pursuant to Evidence Rule 404(B)(1)(a), the State served notice of its intention to use "other acts" for any of the purposes specifically allowable under Evidence Rule 404(B). Upon the agreement of the parties, it is hereby ORDERED that the State of Ohio shall specify to counsel for the Defendant any and all "other acts" evidence that the State of Ohio intends to use at trial in this action pursuant to Rule 404(B) on or before September 8, 2020.

BUT! I remember reading a post that said evidentiary hearing on 9/8. Oh gosh.... I have to go back & try to find this now....

Okay - finally found the reference I have to the evidentiary hearing.

my notes:
6/22/20 Update: Judge Deering doing intro. Prosecution will be adding a special prosecutor. Junk is explaining the change w/Yost’s office pulling out of the trial, leaving it to Pike County prosecutor. Shouldn’t change anything or create a delay. Still have access to special prosecutor & BCI. Andy Wilson is joining the prosecution team now that the AG has withdrawn-granted motion. Defense bond motion for GW3 will be on Aug. 6 at 1:30pm, referring to as status conference as well. Defense says they may ask for a delay-they’re talking about calling witnesses. Canepa asking until end of August to complete studying what is the shared drive for discovery. Government putting them on notice for 404B evidence. Sept. 8 scheduled for evidentiary hearing. Prosecution team now comprised of Pike Co. prosecutor Rob Jun, Angie Canepa & Andy Wilson. Motion of the State of Ohio in a Capital case & pursuant to statute to hold the defendant without bail filed by Robert Junk. 6/24/20: Entry appointing Special Prosecutor, D. Andrew Wilson to assist the Pike County prosecutor in the prosecution of all matters involving & arising out of this case.

Betty P's post #305. Is the bold from above. I am assuming Betty was listening/watching the 6/22/20 hearing. Maybe she heard it wrong?

We'll probably find out when the trial begins. In all the times Kendra has been interviewed in the news media, she's never mentioned it. It's one of the questions that will probably be answered eventually.

IIRC, per my notes the audio for that hearing wasn't good. Perhaps there's a video of the hearing still online, perhaps on You Tube?

ETA: Looking through the dockets for all the cases on the Pike County Common Pleas Court site, there's nothing scheduled yet, nor any recent mention of it. Perhaps its been delayed/continued? Next hearings I see are for Jake on 9/22, two Motion Hearings.

Nothing has been scheduled that I can see for Angela or Billy Wagner. Maybe the court or attorneys are still trying to catch up on these cases with COVID 19 delays. Perhaps the info just hasn't been posted to the web site yet?

I have Jake for 9/21 and 9/22.

Under the court site - 8/18/20:
Upon agreement of the parties, another pre-trial hearing and motion hearing is scheduled in this action for Monday, September 21, 2020 from 9 o'clock a.m. to 4 o'clock p.m. and Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock noon. There being no further matters before the Court, said Court was adjourned.

For four years I've thought about those holes in the window next to CR's front door.

Maybe a rifle with a night scope was used to shoot GR through the window while he was sleeping on the couch. Just an opinion on a possibility...

  • #492
Also, the open window at the end of CR's trailer. What room is that?
The agent did say GW4 purchased a night scope.

The window is being open at CRsr and FR houses could have been part of the coverup. That may have been done by the killers to make the bodies cool faster. It could have been done by investigators to air out the places. It could have been done to hand someone things the killers took. We may find out in the trials.
We may never know...

  • #493
Wasn't that the window where the curtain had been pulled to the outside of the trailer?

I can't wait til the trials so we will finally know how it happened.

The problem is twofold. Will it get brought up? Can you believe what is said about it by the Ws?

Betty, the story is not true. Please please take the time to read the truth on his FB. Someone (Defense/FW) is trying to use him and this story from years and years ago to cook up a drug-related motive for these murders, IMO. The young man did not ask for this to be printed.

I'll take you at your word as I don't follow cases on Facebook (except when reading a news outlet page). If so, someone has taken advantage of his situation. Such a bizarre "newspaper".

Anyone know IF there was an evidentiary hearing yesterday for GW3??

TIA! :)

I have the 8th listed as Evidentiary Hearing. An added note saying "just a deadline date 1.30pm no hearing"

Where the addition came from I've no idea, I've looked back and can't see it. Maybe said at end of June hearing.

Found link on Local 12 FB , here's the link. Hope it works.

There’s no witnesses, no finger prints and no dna evidence. How they gonna prove who fired the shots? Each case is individual. They’ll all individually walk. So sad
I just have a strong feeling someone is going to start singing like a canary when they realize it is really coming down. One of them will tell all and I bet it is George! I look at him as one that can run the lips but is scared now!

So now we know who was supporting the Wagners while they was in Alaska, JMO
