04/04/2022 DECISION AND JOURNAL ENTRY UPON DEFENDANT'S MOTIONS NUMBERS 16, 17, 18 AND 20 -- Defendant's Motions Nos. 16, 17, 18 and 20 have been argued thoroughly by counsel, through written memoranda. Counsel for each party was also given an opportunity to argue concerning these motions on September 20, 2019, and further argument was presented by counsel for each party on March 7, 2022. The Court has considered the written and oral arguments of the Defendant in support of each motion and the written and oral arguments of the State of Ohio in opposition of each such motion and issues the following rulings.
AS TO DEFENDANT'S MOTION NO. 16, ENTITLED "DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO TRANSCRIBE THE GRAND JURY PROCEEDINGS PRIOR TO TRIAL" Defendant's Motion No. 16 is hereby overruled and denied. The Court finds that the Defendant has not shown sufficient reason for the Court to order the Grand Jury proceedings to be transcribed.
AS TO DEFENDANT'S MOTION NO. 17, ENTITLED "DEFENDANT'S MOTION FOR A PRE-TRIAL COPY OF THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE GRAND JURY PROCEEDINGS" Defendant's Motion No. 17 is hereby overruled and denied. The Court finds that the Defendant has not shown a particularized need for disclosure of the grand jury proceedings. State v. Greer, 66 Ohio St.2d 139 (1981).
AS TO DEFENDANT'S MOTION NO. 18, ENTITLED "DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO DISCLOSE NAMES OF GRAND JURY WITNESSES" Defendant's Motion No. 18 is hereby overruled and denied. There was no court reporter there this morning.
I'm awake! Ready and waiting.
This sleep thing is awful. Disturbed sleep at night and during the day just fall asleep without warning. Haven't been out properly for a few months, just to the doc.

Court reporter's husband got sick and went to the hospital last night.
I overheard this during the break. Bodziak was talking to the Franklin County court reporter telling her why the current court reporter was MIA.
Today's court reporter came from Franklin County and they tried hard to find a court reporter Deering said.
Bodziak said he came into court and only the camera was there, said he had to ask what was going on. Also said they don't give you much room in regards to the table he was sitting at.

What is going on in court today? Why is the defense trying to discredit the shoe impressions expert when AW said the Wagner brothers left that night with the shoes on an Jake has surely told about the shoes, or has something happened with the Deals?
